  1. The question that springs to mind is ,What's the point?. The publicity blurb says the cab can be fitted to any tractor, but since nearly all tractors nowadays have a perfectly adequate cab already why bother.
  2. Nicecollection there PDC, I like the 3300, unusual model.
  3. The drum on the back is a cable drum for operating equipment, was quite common to have these before hydraulics, as cables were used to lift dozer blades and operate scrapers, some crawlers would have two or more of these cable drums fitted.
  4. Nice pics there Johny, but I didn't think four wheel drive was allowed in tractor pulling.
  5. Presumably the change in numbering was for two reasons, 1/. to defferentiate between the engines in the 698T and 1004T and 2/. to fit in with the other tractor models then on the German market ie. 1014 1134 etc.
  6. That's a nice old bus you've got there Marky, deserves a bit of tlc, you can probably get most spares for it under Massey's 10+ parts, only problem may be body parts.
  7. Great photos there, a lot of tractors we wouldn't see over here very often, thanks Erik.
  8. Thanks for all the compliments, probably took about two weeks of evenings, most of the time waiting for filler to dry.
  9. Cut down the TN75 mudguards to make them narrower and have rounded off the corners of the cab to make it look more like a Massey cab
  10. Someone on here was asking a while ago which chassis could be used for a MF36**. Well it set me thinking and this is the result. Have used a Britains TN75 chassis, modified TN75 cab and bonnet and guess what?, TN75 wheels, also some plastic card and a load of Milliput.
  11. Seen a couple of those in this area , your convo looks spot on , so far.
  12. That's interesting, i was thinking it might be a Bueler Genesis cab.
  13. Sorry to hear about your arm Johny, how did you do it?, will miss all your MF convo's for a while.
  14. Thanks for all the compliments, Yes ,definately going to get the new Toy Farmer Allis 7580 Johny, but will probably end up converting it to a 8550.
  15. Very nice convo, makes a change from tractors and it certainly looks the part, well done.
  16. A mate of mine has been quoted ?390/ton for straight nitrogen this week.
  17. WOW! , that's stunning, just looks right doesn't it, like its always been like that. Bet there's a lot of work gone into it.
  18. I think it's going to be ?12.60 for a years sub, 4 issues.
  19. Going to be published by Kelsey Publishing. http://www.kelsey.co.uk/
  20. The June 2008 issue of Tractor and Machinery mag arrived today, some nice articles on Counties in it and a couple on restoring 35's. But there's news of a new magazine for old Massey Fergusons, starting this summer and coming out quarterly. Looks as if it will be a good read.
  21. I think its an interim colour scheme, note the black grill, not the usual cream, and silver wheels. I've seen 885's with these colours but the older grill.
