  1. The Hiniker Co. is still in existence in the USA but no longer makes cabs, they now specialise in spray equipment and snow clearing equipment. Whilst Sonny is correct in saying Hiniker cabs were fitted to many makes of tractor ,including MM's, Olivers, JD's and others they were aftermarket cabs, in the same way as our Lambourne or Staydry cabs were and were not factory fitted. The cabs on the MF 1155's were factory fitted cabs and were not I believe made by Hiniker, although they appear very similar. http://www.hiniker.com/
  2. If it's genuine MIB ,then yes. They make more than that on Ebay.
  3. A proper 4840 looks like this.
  4. Nice pics Richard, that Deutz with the Fritzmeier cab is in amazing condition for its age.
  5. If anyone has ever seen a crow take a ewe's eyes, while still alive, they wouldn't be a bit squeamish about hanging a dead one up to scare others away. Nasty, evil, vermin .
  6. Nope, Sean, no loader brackets, i think it's just the man's ploughing tractor, not having the cab makes for better visibility and ease of getting on and off.
  7. There appears to be an air cleaner and possibly an exhaust on top of the baler, so presumably it has an engine fitted somewhere, but I can't work out quite where.
  8. And last, but not least a MF 390 and this MF 6495 that a mate of mine has on loan whilst his 6470 is being serviced
  9. Two more old ladies, a DB 780 with I think a DB plough and an Inter.
  10. MF 4215 with Kverneland match plough, don't modern tractors look strange without cabs?
  11. IH 784 with Dowdeswell plough
  12. Couple more golden oldies, Ford 3600 and MF 65
  13. Nice old Fendt Favorit with Ransomes Plough, driver of this was about 12 years old.
  14. Universal with Kneverland plough
  15. Couple of nice old Nuffields
  16. Just come back from a ploughing match at Gilfach, Llangorse ,Powys, so thought you might like to see some pics. Trailer ploughing first, Fordson seems to be the norm here.
  17. British and European manufacturers tend to quote engine HP, while US tractors are more often quoted as drawbar or PTO HP. This can give quite a variation in figures for similar or even the same tractors. Add to this the different standards used by different manufacturers, ie. ISO or DIN figures and it becomes quite a minefield.
  18. A Massey 780 special and a Massey 788, but it was a long time ago.
  19. That looks a beast, nice wheels, look really good on it.
  20. Wow! Brilliant, hope that news is right, the Allis 7580 is one of my favourite tractors of all time. Converted one a while back from the old ERTL 8550 model .http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=9014.0
  21. That's an amazing piece of work,as TM810 said ,are you sure there not all photos of the real thing?
