  1. What type of loader is it anyway?, looks like a Horndraulic or a Mil.
  2. An Uncle of mine used to have a MTZ 52, was starting to rust when he bought it, from new I might add. Strange thing to drive but would pull like a train , what you might call an aquired taste.
  3. The story goes, Lamborghini bought a Ferrari car, but found it so unreliable that it was always breaking down. He complained to Ferrari, who told him to go away and stick to making tractors, Lamborghini was so enraged he started his own supercar business and their legendary rivalry was born.
  4. I would say the simplest option is just take a hammer to it.
  5. I believe several US manufacturers dabbled with beach cleaning equipment, Allis Chalmers and John Deere certainly did, and as is the way of these things, if one does they all have to. Wether these machines were actually built by the companies or were badge engineered is a different matter. Allis Chalmers certainly built a "Beachmaster" version of their D21 tractor as there is one preserved in this country, an article on its restoration recently appeared in Tractor and Machinery magazine.
  6. No , they are on the outside on tractors on the MF website, would appear to be to protect the cab rear.
  7. Can't find much about this one in my limited resources, but it would appear the MF 451 is built in Brazil and is powered by a 53hp Perkins 903.27 engine. Marky's probably got all the brochures on this one ,so you'll have to wait for him to reply with all the details.
  8. Looks pretty good to me, nice to see something different to the usual JD, MF, or Ford convo's on here.
  9. Yes , amazing isn't it , just as I got round to it the batteries in my camera died.
  10. Previous pics show 8260 and 8280 , this one is 6499, spot the difference.
  11. I think your wrong there, the 8260 and 8280 had the same style bonnets whilst the bonnet on the 6499 has considerable differences.
  12. Same cab on 135,148,165,188,etc so same rake on windscreen, MF,s cabs were a one size fits all on the 100 series.
  13. Lift the bonnet flap on a 135 and from front to back you have, radiator cap, fuel tank cap and fuel gauge sender [ should be dull aluminium/plated finish with two wires running to it], otherwise exactly as UH have modelled it.
  14. Some lovely pics there, Is that a David Brown 2D fitted with a Ferguson engine ? interesting conversion.
  15. Very nice Doe Triple D and from the other side of the world a 1965 Australian Chamberlain Tandem. Thats the lot as the camera batteries died , could have took loads more, so if anybody else was at Malvern and took pics please feel free to add some more.
  16. US built Ford and two furrow plough.
  17. Couple of David Browns ,a 50D [ worth a fortune] and a Cropmaster with an unusual loader.
  18. Couple of real beauties now, MF1150 V8 and MF165 4WD
  19. British built Allis B and mid-mounted mower and county crawler
  20. Early US built Allis Chalmers B and Allis Chalmers C widefront
  21. 1918 standard Fordson and Minneapolis Moline U
  22. Been to Tractor world today at Malvern, took a few pics, hope someone will be interested, Start with the oldest, A Parret and a 1919 Saunderson Universal.
  23. Not two filler caps ,but one filler cap and the fuel gauge sender.
  24. I think Marky is right ,where a MK1 differs from a Mk2 is the added sound insulation, the 500 series soon followed with a purpose designed Q cab.
