  1. Oh smithy, I reckon trig could squeeze that wee loader on his Merc, Reckon he might struggle a bit with this one though, The mighty Le Tourneau L2350. Regards Joe.
  2. You will enjoy 3D Printing Ian, the possibility's are endless, I've been dabbling in it now for over 7 years, and learning new procedures almost daily, on my 3rd printer right now, A Creality Ender 3 Pro, Sean uses one as well, Filament ( FDM ) printers are good on large prints, But for fine detailing a Resin printer would be better, You will also need a " slicer " to prepare your object so as they can be printed, I use Cura 5.3, They do take a bit of learning, Sean uses an IOS based system as he is all Ipad anyway, But loads of different systems out there, Then if you do have any issues Youtube tutorials are real handy, Creality https://www.creality.com/ Cura, https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura Regards Joe.
  3. Welcome back Ian, long time no see. Regards Joe, aka Catkom3.
  4. There was also ol, remember ol. Regards Joe.
  5. There's a short video of them on Youtube. Regards Joe.
  6. These day's my CAD / 3D printer are more my workbench than Plastruct and scalpel, I thought I'd share these on here, The Good-Year Titan LSW 1400's I've been hopeing to print for years now finally they are available through Cult 3d, https://cults3d.com/en/search?q=DIECAST+TRACTOR+TIRE, So I thought they'd look good on my Fendt 1050, I printed them on fairly low setting as I thought the rough finish suited the tyres better than shiney smooth, Also put an appropriately sized cultivator behind it, My 12mtr Agrisem. Regards Joe.
  7. You can get these rather nice ones with LED's in them, sure Brian (mrsofty) has a few, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/354686022455?hash=item5294ef3337:g:kXgAAOSw8k9kJmV~&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA0OnDf77K2YGlgAvlH0P13PbzkQ8kysCzr1lmSKMCom3K2gU2ZHCLXmWQeYnquENd7lI%2BKq8%2BaN9gkwXyaYnyOSrCFuCZ9Mmb9e9XuhnYCd26iBjMqzCD1HAlZ3uCNn8DzLSXAMdfZqq11rf11DiaPwDLnNQUXo0L83v8uAp56%2B7NUjzXKiUHvdq94XnbLlS6Ut8bAN6Y8P9IWeOxWYdGQYWgOX5PiwPSTHVvOzuKP2CediDKMVmdJMacX%2Fk3KVurCScahJ2K3x%2FDUrl5Ro2RkMQ%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR5DGnqDoYQ Regards Joe.
  8. This might be worth keeping an eye on, A Tiny 3D printer priced at $99 Tiny Maker resin 3D printer seems to have washing and cureing built in, Brilliant for tyres and wheels, you could print them in individual colours easy. Regards Joe.
  9. The rears on the 8S look to be low profile, A bit like the Good Year Titan LSW's, ?? https://www.titan-intl.com/innovation/lsw-tires Regards Joe.
  10. The land wheels should follow the tractors wheels ,But it might be tricky to set up, The UH Lemken Euro Titan's wheels were tricky too. Regards Joe.
  11. Shapeways prices are unreal, Cults might be a better bet, I just bought an stl file through them today for £ 2.60p, It was 1/25th scale but that's simple enough to change Regards Joe.
  12. I still use the flexible one that came with the machine, works fine for me but I do use TomBow glue sticks as that is way better than Pritt, Pritt is soft and mushy and prints don't stick to it, TomBow is hard much like candle wax in appearance, As for bed levelling can't really recall the last time I did that. Regards Joe.
  13. Do you use a magnetic build plate I can't remember, Don't think you use any glue as I think you had issues with that, might be woth giving the build plate a wash in hot soapy water, I had a print wouldn't stick, because I hadn't used the printer for some time there was a little bit of dust on the surface and that was enough to break the adhesion, Regards Joe.
  14. Ambient temperature will make a helluva difference to FDM filament prints Sean, I've had some disappointing prints these last few months, even an open door causing a slight draught can upset things. Regards Joe.
  15. Don't be fooled by my new profile Paul, My PC went A over T a few weeks back and ended up logging in Via Facebook, hence the James ( Joe ) Dewar profile, But it's still little old me catkom3 Joe. Regards Joe.
  16. According to Henry Selten, they're due next week. Regards Joe.
  17. Pity those are damaged Smithy, pretty rare these days those old 1/50th scale ERTL Cats Regards Joe.
  18. Agriaffaires are saying 1985 Paul, https://www.agriaffaires.co.uk/used/reciprocating-harrow/30659441/amazone-re30.html Regards Joe.
  19. If you wait long enough there's no saying what might turn up, Via Diego Caramella, https://www.facebook.com/groups/257375957770847/?hoisted_section_header_type=recently_seen&multi_permalinks=2357209094454179 Regards Joe.
  20. It's popped up a couple of times on Profi's Facebook page all sorts of speculation about who might be making it, and some mention of 18mtr header, https://www.profi.de/aktuell/aktuelle-meldungen/erlkonig-mahdrescher-mit-drei-achsen-30326.html https://www.facebook.com/profiMagazin Regards Joe.
  21. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to who might be responsible for this unusual machine, apparently Krone made the chassis, Regards Joe.
  22. Looks like the Valtra Q's are now available Jos at FarmToys seems to have them, https://toys-farm.com/en/search?query=Valtra Q305 Regards Joe.
  23. £100 per kilo, is that Resin, a half kilo of filament even through Amazon is only £16.99, hard to imagine tpu on a resin printer though, ?? Regards Joe.
  24. Upto you obviously,But I would have a go at 3D printing the tracks useing flexible tpu, great filament to use, Worked a treat on my PistenBully tracks. Regards Joe.
  25. You could well be right about "tweaking" models to get them to "look" right, I'm sure I read that quite some time ago. Regards Joe.
