I thought they may have used the same racks as fitted to the blue steerable flat bed trailer, 9591, so had a look.........same method of fixing but not the same plastic casting/moulding. The flat bed casting is getting to be a bit of an old war horse, albeit slightly modified, having first seen the light of day on the magi deutz lorry in 1981 I think it was. Certainly getting their monies worth out of it

Of the 1174's it must be the red and white ones. Did he do the gold jubilee version, pre red and white? -
No, on top of my nieces belongings in a Freelander, yes very large/awkward. Oops miss read this, It may have been part of a light box. It wears its age quite well with some missing paint. Sellers parents had/closed a toy shop 30 odd years ago

My latest purchase, cost more to collect than buy! A tricky thing to post It is just over 4' long, 6" deep and 1/8" thick With a tractor for size comparison
-
I remember the E27N as my father made one up, 30 + years ago . They occasionally turn up on eBay I believe they also made some John Deere's as well as other tractor models. I see what you mean about the wings, worse though is the sagging front axle There was a rumour about licensing irregularities, but it was only a rumour

Pictures please David..................................worth a thousand words apparently Some nice items in Model Farmer magazine You weren't, by any chance, the winning bidder of the farm yard/buildings, on a base, on eBay a few weeks ago? -
Quite a modified casting as the early, prewar, bodies did not have provision for the raves and also had a wooden floor. It predates the tipping trailer by some years 1934 as opposed to 1949 for trailer 130F whose body was used on the postwar round nosed trucks, 59F and military versions, from 1949 onward I should imagine. The 1946-8 versions used the prewar design float with wooden floor Postwar military 6 wheeled truck with wooden floor and no hay rave support Postwar civilian truck post 1949 with hay rave support

Right first time The farm display was given to me by Brian Norman at least 20 years ago at a Bill Richardson, is it? model tractor show/fair and the red stock box, 07154? came from a shop in Redruth in 2003

A quick update, just a few items for your perusal......... Cat no. 0086 another card backed poster, that folds in half. this from 1979-80 Cat no. 0094 Card Display Stand Universal from 1977-80. The description in the trade catalogue changed slightly a couple of times in that four years! This green one being the right hand as opposed to the blue one, see earlier post. A fairly recent purchase this..........last month. The platform the tractor is set on has been replaced at some point in the past with corrugated cardboard. It needs doing again.........properly When photographing this the 6600 was the first tractor that came to hand, it was also used for the catalogue picture Yeah, the exhaust is missing 7157 Farm Counter Pack a stock box that held an assortment of 129 small animals These were first issued in 1983 and had two different coloured designs to box before this version was used from 1989. I don't know how long this scheme was used before the cat no. was deleted at the end of 1992 as the picture disappeared from the trade catalogue after 1990. A counter pack containing 129 small animals was still available in 1993 as cat no. 7154 in the new Rosette Range. Another/more to find

Thanks '72. There is one item in here that came from you.................................but I'll let you work out which one

I followed this link as well. Not a very extensive farm range here either, but perhaps this was when they were switching over from lead. The Police figures are nice, I'd like to find some of them Only item I have is the scarecrow albeit in a different colour scheme Picture to follow....................

I followed the link and had a look. The farm set, in plastic, was very nice/desirable if a little crude, but full of charm. I presume this had one of everything available at the time of introduction.......... not a large range. I was unaware of the tractor and binder being available in plastic, along with horse drawn implements. I do have an unpainted example of the blacksmith with anvil as well as the farmer, again unpainted. The blacksmith is a little larger than 1/32 scale........about 60mm. Photo to follow.........................

Keep 'em coming '72 I like those boxed plastic Crescent sets. There was a largish set on eBay a while back, complete with tractor and trailer MB. Not sure what it went for, but was tempted
-
Good to see you still have the ROBILT buildings as well Pictures okay if you click on them................................well it works for me
-
I believe there was one of these in the Charlie Biggs sale a few years ago, this it?
-
I'll have that blue one, and that green one, ooh and that one with the tin wheels, and, and............ That's a fair few there Andy, all eras too with tin wheels, rubber tyres and plastic wheels I've never seen the caterpillar one in the flesh so to speak. I always thought they came with the lead moulded impression of tracks only and not with rubber tracks. No Davis Estates one as yet then? Keep them coming
-
There was one of these at Spalding a few years ago. I don't think it was for sale, the owner was trying to find out a little bit about it, I believe. May be the same one!

What poster/s have you? as seen with the rolling road, stock draws and cardboard display.
