  1. Massey Ferguson 390 and Bamlett Vaderstad rolls at work on the same farm.
  2. Massey Ferguson 4840 at work in Lincolnshire in the late eighties.
  3. Followed by this pair of brand new Fendt 724 Varios equipped with matching front Grimme tanks and GB215 potato planters.
  4. The first of today's assignments, photographing this Valtra S374 and Grimme ridging bodies.
  5. 1/43rd scale Ertl Minne Mo G950 to sit alongside my G750 that I've had since 1996.
  6. First of a few photos from an amazing farm sale I covered near Doncaster in 2018 which featured many one owner gems including a Doe Triple D that sold for £55,000, and a UK specification Massey Ferguson 1100 that sold for £13200 and is now being restored by a friend.
  7. Same Silver 130 and Mastenbroek / Herder Grenadier mowing arm that Colin bought from a local drainage board a few years ago.
  8. Colin also runs twenty tractors including this lovely F reg Massey Ferguson 3080 which appeared on the front cover of Classic Tractor back in 2006.
  9. Photos from the same yard just over forty years earlier.
  10. A few photos of some of contractor Colin Martinson's fleet of New Holland combine harvesters I photographed and wrote about in 2019. He currently runs 12 New Hollands and a lone Case IH CT5080 which is to all intents and purposes a New Holland TX68 in disguise.
  11. Lovely additions Martin. K-Two spreader matches up well with the 8210.
  12. Some lovely tractors in the Cheffins sale @smithy. Followed the sale live online for the first couple of hours pretty much knowing there was going to be nothing I could afford that i'd really like. Given recent prices I didn't think there was anything that made mega money or an out of the ordinary price. I thought some of the American imports which I think Robert Fearnley had brought over 20 years ago made stronger money than usual. I believe they all came from the same collection, would have quite liked that Allis Chalmers D21 or that Minne Mo G1350. Thought the John Deere 4020 made excellent money at £17500. Bargain of the sale was the second of the David Brown Track Masters that made £5400. Hoping those two crawlers stayed together as a pair.
  13. Harvesting potatoes in Lincolnshire with these Massey Ferguson 290 and 690 tractors yoked to a Grimme Allrounder harvester in the late eighties.
  14. Fendt 820 Vario and Standen H300 potato planter at work in 2019.
  15. Not sure on the exact specification of the gearbox but the back end is out of a 100 series I believe with Multipower gearing inside. Stand to be corrected though. It even has a very crude three point linkage fitted.
  16. Ford 7840 run by a friend of mine on the North Yorkshire Moors.
