  7. Lots of 6100 series and 6200 series parts now installed on this tractor. Most of the rear linkage is from a 6290. Thought he might of painted the grill/front cowl the correct colour too rather than red. It's also got a larger radiator now fitted so the battery has been re-located from behind the front grill to a box below the cab door on the off-side. Cab mirrors are off a later tractor too. It's not everyone's cup of tea, a few folk reckoned he was mad to change the appearance of a tidy 3095. But, it had done over 11,000 hours, the original engine was in desperate need of a re-build so when he bought a new round baler with a larger power requirement he decided to upgrade the 3095 instead of look for another tractor to replace it.
  8. The original engine was on it's last legs so it now has an engine out of a Massey Ferguson 6180 tweaked slightly to around 140hp. The exhaust was custom made, and it also has an up-rated hydraulic system, larger fuel tank and a front linkage off a more modern McCormick tractor. 🙂
