  1. Thanks ever so much Jon. Absolutely chuffed to bits to have had the opportunity to acquire them.
  2. Britains based Ford 9700 featuring Ertl and Autodrome parts.
  3. Britains based Roadless 94T and a pair of 7000s. Another trio of models that were built around 20 years ago.
  4. Loving the Escorts! Is that an XR3i in the centre mate?
  5. Thanks ever so much mate, so chuffed to be given the chance to purchase the Autodromes from a fellow collector. Without doubt one of my favourite line ups in my collection now.
  6. Old school Britains based Ford 7610 conversion built over twenty years ago I bought recently. Needs a good clean and a minor spruce up, but still really nice, and from an era long before there was UH stuff to chop and change.
  7. Scaledown County Sea Horse that joined my collection recently.
  8. Scaledown Fordson E27N with Roadless half tracks from Martyn Reeve arrived today.
  9. Interesting, but hardly a revolution or a new concept. Gantry systems have been around for a long time but never seen any significant commercial success. Cotswold farmer David Dowler is probably the most well known designer of gantry tractors in the UK. He developed his first all the way back in the 1970s and a later version he built was taken up by the Silsoe Research Institute with little success. I do wonder if concepts like the gantry for certain applications were in fact way ahead of their time, and now we're entering the era of commercially available driver-less tractors that this type of configuration may actually suit that technology one day. Same with a tool carrier tractor i've just done a feature on for Classic Tractor which again was far from being a commercial success but in years to come could potentially be suited to the driver-less era.
  10. Roadless Ploughmaster 46 that joined my collection recently.
  11. Pair of Track Marshall 55 crawlers that joined my collection recently.
  12. This fleet of Autodrome based County 1254, Ford 9600, 8600, and 8000 tractors joined my collection yesterday from a private collection. They were all built around 20 years ago.
  13. A pair of Perkins V8 powered Massey Fergusons converted by Roy Leetham 17 years ago.
  14. Correct, absolutely spot on John. I used to love catching up with him at Penrith, and always admired the one off conversions he came up with which he always improved upon year on year. Massively grateful I had the chance to buy some of them. I think he may have had an article written about his conversions in Classic Tractor about 16/17 years ago.
  15. Thanks ever so much John. Roy built quite a few models with Hiniker cabs over the years including Oliver, Minneapolis Moline and John Deere. Love the conversions he built over the past twenty years, pleased i've been able to give just over twenty of them new homes in my collection recently. Here's a couple of lovely Case conversions of his I now own.
  16. International 1466 and 1066 conversions built by Roy Leetham recently added to my collection.
  17. Recently added a 4wd Nuffield 4/60 built by Cenfyn Davies to my Nuffield/Marshall cabinet. Just in need of some Bathgate blue now.
  18. Anytime mate. Precisely why mine are tucked away in cabinets and not on a diorama ........plus I don't have the skill or patience to create anything like that in the first place.
  19. Definitely Mike. Nice to be finally back at a show, and with no Lakeland or Zwolle, Newark was always going to be the show this back end I treated myself to a few things. Working all weekend in an official capacity has helped lessen the dent in my bank balance too.
