  1. It is rather nice John, great story behind it too which i've enjoyed being a part of this year. 1/32nd scale model coming later in the year from UH. I'll post more photos and details of the tractor in due course. This was it's first time out of the workshop about a month ago up at Leyburn prior to being publicly unveiled at the Great Yorkshire Show on Tuesday.
  2. Lovely model. Here's a fully restored example of a VF bulldozer on Crawfords stand at the Millennium Show at Newark.
  3. You're very welcome Dominik. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
  4. According to the late John Deere historian Don McMillan's book "John Deere Tractors World Wide" GMW produced 250 of the 35 from 1952, and 220 of the 25 from 1955. The vast majority were sold in Sweden and a few were exported to Finland and Brazil.
  5. Very nice, nearly bought one of those from Ken Davies a number of years ago. GMW were a Swedish company that produced a couple of tractors in the mid fifties to mid sixties the GMW 25 and 35 based on the John Deere Model A and Model B.
  6. Case IH 1594 Commemorative Edition on carting duties last Friday.
  7. Really nice tractor that is mechanically excelllent, just needs some cosmetic attention. Drove a 785XL fitted with a FarmHand loader on a friend's farm near York around 16 years ago, loved operating it. Comfortable and very easy drive. Unfortunately it was written off when an electrical fire took hold behind the dashboard one day. A 4wd 885XL would be very nice to own.
  8. International 785XL and B47 baler following on behind. In time both these will be restored to the same standard as the 434. Both work very well.
  9. Grand little tractor that was refurbished back in 2019. Worked a treat on the hay-bob.
  10. I may not have spoken to you on this occasion Dominik, but i'm sure like many others, certainly enjoyed viewing your display on Sunday. You've produced some excellent and interesting models some of which I saw, photographed and judged for the competition at Leamington Spa at the beginning of last year. Keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing you with your display again at more shows in the future.
  11. Agree with the many positive comments regards the show. Well done to Colin and his team for firstly organising this show under the circumstances and secondly pulling it off. Well laid out leading to a very relaxed atmosphere. Ultimately after all of this inactivity and lack of shows because of everything that has gone before recently, this was a great day to catch up with good friends, stall holders and fellow collectors, and a great day for the hobby as a whole.
  12. A good friend's International 434 rowing up hay before the weather broke.
  13. Fantastic turn out Paul, lovely set of pictures. Are you heading to Scampston at the end of the month?
  14. A few bits brought home from Spalding Show today. Great that this was able to take place. Lovely to catch up with good friends today.
  15. A few shots of the New Holland CR8080 I visited on July 1st harvesting winter barley for crimping at 34.7% moisture.
  16. Fantastic! That looks very nice indeed. Great work.
  17. Whilst out photographing the New Holland CR8080 at work today I also stumbled across this interesting outfit making half size small bales for creating Horsehage by a farming estate and specialist equine feed company.
  18. Began my 2021 harvest travels today with this 2012 New Holland CR8080 harvesting winter barley for crimping and clamping.
  19. Farm sale I attended near Barnsley on Saturday which included this John Deere 2850 and a pair of older Case IH Maxxums in the shape of these 5120 and 5140 Pros.
  20. All good. Seems to be working fine.
  21. Massey Ferguson Beta 7270AL-4 at work on a good friend's farm back in 2019.
  22. Had a great time over the weekend seeing these classic Fords lifting first cut silage.
  23. Just tried to upload some photos from both phone and pc, all different file sizes, and get the same message. Hopefully Andy will be able to pin down the problem and resolve it. 🙂
