  1. An advert for a car on a billboard with the caption underneath "even Italy can afford the repayments"
  2. Those big TW's look really strange in 2 wheel drive, they must have had problems transmitting that power to the ground unless they were mainly used in pto applications

    Hi!

Welcome Steve, I had a go on a TM90 when I last worked near St Neots and it was a wonderful old machine even if it was a bit noisy : The farm also had a TM 70 and TM55 that was in semi retirement even in 1977

  5. Some are recovered especially if they are fitted with some kind of tracking device but many simply vanish. The theory is that they are shipped across to eastern Europe in containers as there is a booming second hand market for good farm machinery.

  7. can't say about whether you should display or not but the forms should be available from Farmmodels http://www.farmmodels.co.uk/tables/toytracmain.htm
  8. Yes the PC is in GMT which is why I can't understand what has happened.
  9. That's how I figured out that my screen was showing ebay official time as it shows the time differential, however, it doesn't give you the option to alter it in your preferences.
  10. To be fair my old bike was on it's last legs, or wheels should that be , it made all sorts of strange creaking noises as it wobbled along and the wheels have been out of shape since I fell off in the ice about 2 years ago [ I got the old one for free when my father died in 1999 so it doesn't exactly owe me anything, I was also planning on buying a new one for this summer anyway so this just forced my hand.
  11. A new bike, the last one collapsed last week when I rode over a pothole.
  12. I think I have figured this out, for some reason my settings have reverted to "official ebay time" which is the time now in San Jose California rather than in the UK. Does anyone know how to change my settings to show BST?
  13. The time now is 21.49 and the most recently listed item I can see was listed at 13.41 > > not happy bunny
  14. Is anyone else having problems with Ebay tonight, when I search on "newly listed" it is running about 9 hours behind and only showing items listed just after 1pm this afternoon. I know listing isn't instant but it they are usually visible after about 15/20 minutes.
  15. FTF/Model Farmer will be there and I hope to have issue 11 of the magazine on sale as it is due for publication a few days beforehand, if you can't get it in your local newsagent then come along to the show .................and you can subscribe on the day! ;D
  16. I have used the Billy bookcases from Ikea for my displays, this is an old photo and the display has changed but you get the idea
  17. I just LOVE that Nuffield Montransa, I would be very interested to hear the story behind them.......RORY are you out there?? Time for an article I think :) :
  18. I see that there is a Deutz TTV 430 due from UH along with a number of other models, it would only be a colour change to bring out a Same Iron
  19. At the bottom of the main page Sue, 3504 as of today.
  20. Is this for real or is it a conversion? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Russian-Diecast-BELARUS-Tractor-Roller-1-43-scale-/251034235771?pt=UK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN&hash=item3a72ce737b I don't remember ever seeing another one and it looks a bit amateurish :-
  21. Sue there was a mad scramble towartds the end of the day with 3 people taking it in turns to try and better each others scores however, as there were 3 prizes it didn't really matter who won (although the best time was still 27 seconds). Andy took a photo of the 3 winners together so it will probably be in the next magazine but I'm afraid I don't know their names.
  22. Brian stop trying to kid people that you only bought a few things by hiding them in separate posts ;D I saw you sending your gopher back to the car several times with armfuls of carrier bags, you kept half of the traders from going bust all by yourself :of
  23. Thanks Joe, I really didn't get the time to look round properly, looks like Neils' stand
  24. Andy had the Siku Claas Axion prototype on the FTF stand but I didn't see the Wiking one
