I looked at the title of this topic and I thought of the MF Plogmaker and I thought yuck! Then I saw what you have made and I have to say, I like that! Nice job Peter, love the finish 8)

Tim I assume that you mean farming videos rather than framing videos ;) however, if you look under General Discussion you will see that there is already a topic for Farming Related Videos http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php/board,132.0.html

I went into Lidl today as they sometimes have some strange and unusual items in amongst the groceries, well today was no exception :of As you walked down the middle aisle with the usual assortment of cheap power tools and Winceyette pyjamas I came upon the strangest of all......horse blankets and leg covers as well as things to go under the saddle to make it a more comfortable ride. I don't think I have ever walked into any other supermarket and found horsey items amongst the baked beans and chocolate biscuits.....bizarre :of :of

I don't know what others use but I would suggest sheets of clear acetate which is available from most computer shops and probably also stationers. Don't know what the price is though as it has been some time since I bought some \ \

Whats your latest Farm/Construction buy 2011
robbo replied to Gav836's topic in General Hobby Discussion
I quite like the rare and unusual and this caught my eye on eBay, it is obviously a conversion, probably of an early Ertl model but I'm not sure which one. I don't know whether to class it as a County or an International as both companies had a hand in making the real thing although only a few were ever produced If anyone has any information it would be most welcome :) -
The Great Brochure Debate...
robbo replied to rorsday's topic in Brochures, Farming Books and Magazines
I was in a New Holland dealership last week to get some brochures for a member on here there were none on display on the counter. When I asked the staff if they had any the reply was that they were going the way of downloadable pdf brochures and were not producing paper versions except for those who they believed were actually interested in buying a tractor. However, I had something for them so they relented and went into the back room and came back with one copy of each. ;) -
I don't know if these problems have been sorted yet but for some reason the pages are very slow to open today and replies take forever to upload compared to other similar forums.

I suppose it is a matter of personal preference, I much prefer the new releases that are far more intricate and detailed and are shelf models rather than playthings. I want my models to be as realistic as possible and because I have no skill in modifying them I much prefer them to be made that way by the original manufacturer. It wouldn't do for us all to be the same though ;)

How about a model version of this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-1970-80s-Metal-Plastic-Made-Italy-Yaxon-/150558726833?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item230dffdab1

What upcoming models are looking forward to the most?
robbo replied to Light Land's topic in General Hobby Discussion
Nick, there are actually two versions of the MF 590 available, the red cabbed version is the standard version and there is also a silver cabbed version that was made in limited numbers (1500) for the HMT show in the Netherlands. Now you see why this hobby gets expensive ;) ;) -
At the risk of being pedantic, the rear wheels are on the wrong way on the John Deere loader tractor, hopefully they will get it right for the general release. ;)

Any bets on the final price......£350............£500...........more? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170598523893&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Moderate it? I have no idea where to start, I had to read it several times before I could even begin to understand it However I am somewhat of a dinosaur I suppose not being a Facebook aficionado. I take it you are in a rather garrulous mood today? Once I thought I understood it I did consider moving it to "what really made you laugh today".

Hmm I can see me buying a lot more Repliagri stuff this year ;)

Whats your latest Farm/Construction buy 2011
robbo replied to Gav836's topic in General Hobby Discussion
Another one that is not on most peoples "wish" list, Fendt Favorit by Cursor in 1/43 scale. I have also recently got the 2010 LCN Massey Ferguson from one of our overseas members
