  1. :of :of :of WOW, Maxxum and Magnum on the way.
  2. Great to see the 880DT and there I was expecting UH to do it in 1/32 after their 1/43 version. Any news on the IH 845XL?
  3. Yes they did do a yellow one! thanks for that Atte H. The wheel centres look the wrong colour though.
  4. I don't know what to think of the industrial Schluter, especially those wheel centres! Did they ever produce a real one in that colour? Weise normally get the info for the correct colour I know but this time?
  5. This is a typical set up of a big grower: http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp3003.htm http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp3004.htm or here with combined bedtilling and ridging: http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp3016.htm Big growers just have more destoners, planters etc because in Britain we don't use the wide kit such as that available in the U.S. European spud growers chose stoneless ground for their crop so they don't need a pass with the destoner. Harvesting: http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp3191.htm http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp3192.htm http://www.midsuffolkagriphotos.co.uk/gallery/gp3241.htm Likewise UK harvesters are two and three row due to width restrictions. Also UK seems unique in having pickers on the harvester. Boxes seem to be the method of choice for transporting them to store. The photo's on the agrimods site are very good and I don't believe the models are for sale.

I like the 254/274 allrad Sirrocco cabs, an updated version of the canvas cab fitted to many older UK tractors in the mid '70's. Was the 390with a Duncan cab cheaper than the normal version? I knew of one on a farm in 1994 and never saw another. The N.E.V. cab is interesting in that I've never seen that shape in the UK but across the channel most cabs from the late '60's/early '70's are that shape and I believe from more than one manufacturer.
  7. The only Unimog 406's I've seen on farms in the UK were green with a soft top!
  8. Can I ask everyone going to get as many pictures as possible and post them up.
  9. Is that the handbrake on the far side floor? Now I remember the handbrake as below but definitelya fixed steering column.

The letter D has nothing to do with demonstrator or any other specific MF reason, it was a plate for French highway use, all tractors and combines had to have some letter of some form on display. Any idea on the manufacturer of these last cabs? just to add more types, I've just found a 274 with the cab as used on the Siku 200 series tractor ( a model built by Landini not at Banner lane ) http://www.mascus.com/Agriculture/Used-Tractors-60-79-hp/Massey+Ferguson/274+AS/images/59CB25DA-365D-4ADF-9F16-5E278ACFC9C1.html

this is a typical European 200 series cab:
  12. Ahhhhhh, could the higher cab and handbrake repositioning have come before the steering wheel upgrade? Whats the height difference between the two cabs? Any interior pics of the differences?
  13. Nope, I'm talking of the early ones and thought an adjustable steering wheel would make it even better, I guess I was just so surprised at the improvement over the 500 series
  14. Now I always thought that until spending a fair time in one and my opinion changed. Admittedly the construction was not fit for our maritime climate but for most of the world the atmosphere is dry enough not to pose a problem.

Yes Duncan and Lambourne in the last post. Then there was the one used on very early 200 series tractors with a plastic rear screen, who made them?
  16. Thanks Marky for the pics, pity no 600 series, could someone sneek one in there for UH to measure! Hard cabbed 168 would be good though, flexi cab even better but we can't have everything can we!
  17. certainly looks like a narrow tractor to my eye plus it has the correct original safety frame for a narrow tractor.
  18. UH are making their way through the tractors that are kept in the Heritage Centre in Beauvais. So if they have a 600 series there a model could follow. Does anyone have a list of the models kept by MF?
  19. More great finds there. The Deutz and DB are a real credit to the farmer and almost unique to find in such a condition on a livestock farm and in regular use. The International 52 as you call it is actually a 454, the 52 refers to the tractors horsepower. The lowered cab is undoubtedly for scrapping in low buildings and is well done complete with side windows and windscreen.
  20. Do you know the history of that 35 with land rover axle and Duncan cab, quite a combination.
  21. JCB 310 is sounding good, hope they do it justice. Tractors sell far better than implements so they will cater for the biggest market segment.
  22. Let's hope so but I'm not holding my breath!
  23. The MF 1640 round baler looks like a Rivierre Casalis machine, these later became Greenland then Vicon. Any more info on the wrap around combine, I seem to remember seeing an article on it many years ago but remember nothing of the article contents.

    Schuco 2010

The Fendt 620 was introduced in 1978 with a MAN 5 cylinder engine, it was replaced in 1979 by the 622 featuring a MAN 6 cylinder engine, production ending in 1982. The addition of a turbocharger resulted in the 626 being introduced in 1980. I read somewhere that 5 626's were sold new in the UK, so something of a rarity. According to www.favorit626ls.com one 620 was built followed by nineteen 622's and sixty six 626's. The website mentioned has many great pictures of the tractors. That chrome model is just ugly and unreal, Schuco could quite legitimately release 620 and 622 versions as the main frame and cab etc are the same across the three real tractors.
