  1. WOW Didn't expect that red machine, but then again very soon UH will have produced a model of every tractor containing every option (not nessisarily in the right place) ever produced. 3000 series Massey's were all built in Beauvais, Coventry had the 200 and 300 series.
  2. The 7810 rear drawbar is stored on the side of the engine when the pick up hitch is used. As the tractor is using it's pick up hitch then the drawbar is correctly attached to the front side of the tractor. Is the bonnet bulge to do with the tractors having air conditioning? Great model for them to release as as stated by many when released to celebrate 25 years of Basildon tractor production nobody wanted one. Dealers were pressured to have at least one to sell and they often exhibited it on the show stand at the local agricultural show. If Ford had sold many then their present value and desirability would be much lower. Does anyone know if the 1250 duals are removable?
  3. Exactly the type of comment made when the MF 21 came in, will never replace the binder etc etc etc. A farmer with a MF 780 and 8'6" header would look at the idea of Lexions pushing 40 foot headers in the same way, too big, too wide, too heavy, will never work here, yet the Lexions are market leaders. New ways of getting the harvest will be introduced, the machines will be bigger, will be designed to use electric motors and very likely will not need a cab. Never forget Britain is a minnow in the world of grain production, these machines will be tiny in the vast expanses of Eastern Europe, Western Asia and South America. They will be harvesting for human/animal consumption and bio fuel. British harvests may well be distant memory in the minds of the retired farm workers since the countryside was consumed by urban expansion and the remainding land has been turned into a giant park for the recreation of the population.
  4. Does anyone know if that style of plough was ever sold in Britain?
  5. More great finds Marcus. A pimped Duncan cabbed JD 3130, why \ Whats the story with the tractors in the shed, they seem to be a bit abandoned.
  6. Great mix of pictures. Why is there a huge outdoor grainpile?
  7. When Agco took on the challenger line Claas emphasised the Lexion name with a Cat badge to signify the engine and they used the Claas Omaha name to show the combines are assembled in the states.. Looks like the new ones are under the Claas name Claas were on their own from the moment Agco put their nose in. The present Lexions are shown here: http://www.claas.com/omaha/generator/cl-pw/us/products/start,lang=en_US-OMAHA.html Lots of Cat dealers named as Lexion dealers but how many push the Claas Lexions I have no idea.
  8. T8 and T9 can be described as ugly! The bonnet proportions really do nothing for the tractors.
  9. Most manufacturers have used the horsepower, exact or almost right, as the model at sometime, Fiat with the 50 series, 80 series, 90 series and Winners, Deutz with many ranges, Same with many ranges/models etc etc. I was going to say Massey never did but then what about the 20, 30, 35, 40, 65. Model numbers are used and reused by the same maker and between makers and for tractors and implements. Give it a few years and the great green goat will decide to name their tractors A, B, G and H
  10. Deere won't be introducing 40 series tractors, they will be 6M, 6R, 7R etc models, in line with the other tractor ranges they have recently released.
  11. Tellarian Interesting they have the Claas name on the side of that mustard machine, no mention of Cat? It does look better in that guise than green and white.
  12. It's normal the David Brown has a bent headlight, the driver caught it trying to maneuver through that gateway
  13. More great pictures, what is the idea of the yellow trailers with red chassis having such a low front?
  14. Very good model. Can you explain the build details as I only recognize the rear tyres.
  15. Good old fashioned sale you went to. Do you know the make of the bale grab?
  16. Valmet 2105? The bonnet looks a little too long in comparison to the rest of the machine. The original 2654 chassis is far too small for a 1/32 model.
  17. Where the Mighty Goat leads the others follow, simple as that really.
  18. They are oversize and should not be sold as 1/32 scale models BUT trading standards deem them to be approximate toys and so they can be oversize. This subject has been discussed at length before and the conclusion was the above sentence.
  19. You may have a point there 4 metre wheelbase is probably not right, as you suggest the model would have an 8cm wheelbase, 258 cm on the real machine.
  20. The front axle does look a bit too far forward, wheelbase should be 420cm on real machine (13cm in 1/32) , 4wd is 432cm (13.5cm in 1/32). The DT lettering should be blanked out for a 2wd.
  21. So, when did MF introduce the two door cab, the sliding window and the one piece grill?
