CX820Joe
There were a few Sampo combines sold as MFs and for quite a long time. as well as the 8 plot combine there was a 16 and 20 based on Sampo 580 and 680 in production from 1985-91. According to my combine book there was also an MF10 produced in 1987 which was also a plot combine. according to Konedata the first MFs built by Sampo were the 330/430 built from 1982 to 1985 based on Sampo 500 and 600. The combine book lists a 130 produced in 1984 which I assume was a plot combine but I can’t find a photo of one. MF17 and 19 were based on Sampo 2020 and 2025 (1990-96) The 8 became the 8XP in the late 1990s 22, 23, 25, 26 were produced 1990-96, these were revised in 1997 and the 28 and 28XP were added. Then revised again in 1999 lasting to 2002. The equivalent Sampo were the 2045, 2050, 2055 and 2060 and the revised line was based on the Optima range 2035, 2045, 2055, 2065, 2075TS, and 2085TS. The former 28XP was remembered 7238 in line with the bigger Dronningborg line at the same time. the final Sampo based models were the 2045 and 2065 from 2003-07 but were not available here. 1
CX820Joe
seen around tea time tonight - the local estates Prime mover T7.245 with 5m Kuhn drill - also saw it this morning (no photos) passing by on its way off to do some spraying with trailed Chafer. I really like this tractor but it doesn't sound as good as the older ones - in another field on the same farm was their 2010 T7030 which was subsoiling and sounded amazing even though it was some distance away, the sound carrying nicely on the dampening air.
