CX820Joe
Yesterday a Fendt 728 and a JD 6250r went past here and looked the same size. 728 looks massive., I thought it was a 9 series till I saw the cab roof.
phil phoenix
Yep the 728's appear to be arriving on either 650/85/ R38 like the one in the picture or 710/70/R42s both of which are too big to fit on the older Gen 6 models. And both those sizes are standard on big JD6Rs so Fendt will no longer be selling a more compact tractor than JD in the 240hp+ sector once Gen 6 builds stop. Mind you Gen7 700s are 60kph so much quicker than Deere.
phil phoenix
One of the local farmers just outside my village ploughing beet land with JD7R 330 and drilling with brand new Deutz 8280 in java green. Fendt 936 drilling with JD 7R 330 on the power harrow by another local farmer, who were also ploughing with a JD 8370R & one of their NH 7.210s.

phil phoenix
Its amazing how just repositioning and improving the cab design can make such a diffrence to these new NHs. Have you had any through in standard blue yet Jack?

phil phoenix
I took these pictures in fading light on a Velcourt farm near Bury St Edmunds yesterday of various works going on useing new CASE tractors. New cab versioned Optum 300 and Puma 240, plus 150 on trailer and new 165 on destoner. As this farm always changes its fleet regularly I was hopeful I might spy a brand new style Puma 240 or 260 so I wasn't disapointed. And as their tractors have got ever bigger so has the colosal new planter on the 240s rear end. Edited February 4 by phil phoenix
phil phoenix
Pinched this picture from one of the locals who run several T7 NH's mostly Blue Power and it would appear that last year they had use of a pre production T7.300. This is fast becoming my favourite ever basildon blue tractor!!
SirTainly
Haven't been out much photographing anything as I've had a bit of bad health, work's been busy and I'm using spare time to do some stuff for a charity event in November. I did get this of the contractor doing our hedges.
SirTainly
Didn't take anything at tractor world, too busy holding onto the dog. Did see this on my walk this morning, a Deere hiding in the hedge. And then later in use.
CX820Joe
Nice surprise to see this Holmer working this morning with a T7 on trailer duty
phil phoenix
I still remember working on sugarbeet back in the mid 80s carting with a Ford 7610 & 14 ton Marston when I used to visit my mate who was driving an early Matbro self propelled, it was very slow in the field and noisy in the cab. That Holmer on the other hand absolutely flys along and can easily keep too big tractor trailers busy.
phil phoenix
Bluepower bonanza!! Spotted nine of these off two farms working around two close villages recently, all T7.270s, none older than 2021 and one of the new PLM versions. And I think there maybe one or two more I didn't see. Also visited DOEs at Littleport who have already shifted a number of new and ex hire blue powers since the start of the year.
