stapelopfordson Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 I also started my own topic about my latest additions to my brochure collection. I will post new ones only, you can see my whole collection at my website www.stapelopfordson.nl (also translated in English ). Today a Ford Force brochure came in especially about golf courses, parks and sportsgrounds. I already had a same sort of yellow brochure for highways and industry. Does anyone know if there are more brochures in this "yellow" series? Just let me know. I hope you will enjoy this topic!
FordTractorCrazy Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 very nice brochures! i have the bottom one myself, but not the top one. very nice finds! maybe it is time i started such a topic as well
Andy Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Have not seen them like that before. Thanks for sharing. There are a few more highway series brochures I believe. Our very own Rory Day sent me this a while back,
stapelopfordson Posted June 8, 2011 Author Posted June 8, 2011 Have not seen them like that before. Thanks for sharing. There are a few more highway series brochures I believe. Our very own Rory Day sent me this a while back, Thanks Andy for your info, I'm still looking for that one . I do have the following two in the same series:
stapelopfordson Posted June 21, 2011 Author Posted June 21, 2011 Another County brochure added to my collection, I thought I already had this one, but the brochure code is different. May I count that as another one, Rory / Mark .... (100 or 101 different County brochures) This one has code "SL1021 3M/4/72" and I already had "SL1021 1/6/72". BUT I'm still looking for the other version with different cab fitted, see below. Anyone??
Lord Ferguson Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 It counts in my book Andy will be jealous when he sees that little beauty I reckon
stehos Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 Hello Ronald, saw the first one also, but was too late to bid on it :'( , but am happy you won it. The wanted one, wasn't that a french version? As always a nice addition to your very impressive collection .
stapelopfordson Posted June 21, 2011 Author Posted June 21, 2011 Hello Ronald, saw the first one also, but was too late to bid on it :'( , but am happy you won it. The wanted one, wasn't that a french version? As always a nice addition to your very impressive collection . Hi Jack, there were two of these for sale on Ebay last week. The "wanted" one I've only seen once at Ebay sold by a frenchman, but not sure if the brochure was french... that will be a secret until someone got one of these \
FordTractorCrazy Posted June 21, 2011 Posted June 21, 2011 nice addition there Ronald. If it is a different code, it is a different brochure in my book.. (i have plenty of brochures that only differ in date of release..)
stapelopfordson Posted July 2, 2011 Author Posted July 2, 2011 There is not many for sale at the moment, but there are two new brochures which arrived this week. - a french vineyard brochure, 2600, 2600S, 3600, 4100 - the UK version of the 7810 8210 gen III. Not for sale very often, so I took my chance.
stehos Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Great looking brochures, which incidentally are both not in my collection . But you managed to get them, so there's hope.
stapelopfordson Posted July 8, 2011 Author Posted July 8, 2011 Thanks Jack, just keep on searching the net. I think there are still quit a few french brochures to get for both of us. I have added two unusual american direct mailing brochures about the Utility and LCG tractors. They fold out in a multipage poster, these are no. 986 and 987 in my collection. Only a few to go to the magic 1.000 ford tractor brochures
Andy Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Another County brochure added to my collection, I thought I already had this one, but the brochure code is different. May I count that as another one, Rory / Mark .... (100 or 101 different County brochures) This one has code "SL1021 3M/4/72" and I already had "SL1021 1/6/72". BUT I'm still looking for the other version with different cab fitted, see below. Anyone?? Very nice! Unfortunately I don't have either of those!
stapelopfordson Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Thanks Andy, you can't have everything
stapelopfordson Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 Just came over from the USA this RED and WHITE tractor brochure, not all Fords are blue . This 4 page brochure is a typical american one and not the most common one.
FordTractorCrazy Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 nice 900/901 series brochure! there are quite a few variations on the 600/700/800/900 and 601/701/801/901 series as they were called. What i find most interesting about those series is that the tractors were almost identical but had different options, so 611 would be the most standard issue of the 601, and 681 would have all options on the 601. It is a familiar brochure that you wont see often on ebay and the likes.
stehos Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Great find Ronald. Do you also have it's sister brochure the Workmaster brochure AD-6690? I always love to see brochures of this era.
stapelopfordson Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 I have the AD-6690 about the Workmasters, but it has not the same front page layout.... do you mean this one? But I'm still missing some of these series
stehos Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Yes, that's the one I mean. And I hope you miss only a few brochures...
stapelopfordson Posted July 28, 2011 Author Posted July 28, 2011 Yes, that's the one I mean. And I hope you miss only a few brochures... Luckily not many.. I keep on searching. You have common, unusual and rare brochures, BUT sometimes you get a "once in a lifetime opportunity" ;D . I ran into this fantastic american FORD 6000 brochure. (I think) it is the introduction brochure of "The twenty million dollar tractor" (catastrophe \ ), it measures 28 x 35,5 cm (11 x 14 inches) and has code ME-8385-28 26150. It has 20 pages and some wonderful cut away pages, see below.
stehos Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 That's one great find, Ronald. Seems like I have to search harder, because when this one is for sale (and that isn't very often) it fetches good money.
FordTractorCrazy Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 that is one very rare brochure indeed. Not have come accross any ME coded USA brochures before. Mostly the brochures are AD coded and the introduction/mailers are mostly DM and DXM coded. pretty much all 6000 brochures fetch big money is my experience!
stapelopfordson Posted August 6, 2011 Author Posted August 6, 2011 Currently I'm updating my website to a new version. I was wondering at which screen size or resolution you are watching the web. So please let me know guys, so I have an idea. With this information I can optimize my website regarding to lay-out. Updates: - get rid of the frames in my website. Hits of search engines are now shown wrong due these frames. - functionality to show more than one page of the brochure. The pop-up screens make place for a modern overlay screen (with faded background) - last but not least a brochure database. The database is there, but I'm still working on the functionality between the website and database...
Niels Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 If you get a stat counter like Google Analytics you can easily monitor what browser and screen size your visitors are using. But the majority will be IE 8/9 on 1024x768.
