unkelfergus Posted July 12, 2011 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Went for a short drive yesterday evening,.....the first crop being cut in our area,..........oh, Jordantaylor please study these pictures carefully,..........these are what you call steep banks.. : Please ignore the dates.... [ The start of 30 acres... 2 hours later.. The photos dont do the banks much justice.... While cutting this 60 acres of linseed yesterday,the rotors blocked up three times and it cleared itself after a short while,I witnessed one of the blockages and it didnt sound too healthy.... :of They started cutting again just before lunch and done about 200 metres and she blocked again but while letting it unblock this time various lumps of metal were ejected from the rotors as well... :of :of :of :of They are glad they took out the full claas gold warranty,(or whatever its called) when they bought the combine. 2 new rotors will be there at 8.30 tomorrow morning,......and funny enough,claas have had problems with them because the new ones are quite a bit different and heavier built than the old ones..... : Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
