Farmersam
I'm not sure,I'm hoping somebody here will be able to answer that. I'm not sure either, but it looks like it might be for railway tracks, lots of machines have them so they can work on railway lines.

Claaspower
There was supposed to be tractor pulling as well, those last two pictures were of the 936 pulling the sleigh out of a hole after two tractors failed to move it. They were two hours trying to set it up by which time it was nearly four o clock and still no pulling done and with a three hour drive in front of me,I had to leave it so I don't know if they got it off the ground (pardon the pun )
Andy
Looks like an interesting event. A nice line up of machines there, particularly those big John Deeres.
Tractorman810
that yellow axel is indeed for train line work, only ever seen one tractor on them before, and that was a jcb 3cx or something along those lines , but do see a lot of land rovers and occasionally a unimog fitted with them to .
