Tractorman810
there was a pic a while back now, year or two ago??? off a mf combine "future" project from memory joe, and guess what ,it looked very similar to that, and to be honest that cab has all the marks of the latest mf's to it to? TM190
That 'Thing' is Never gonna fit down our roads never mind off them through a 12ft gate!
The Tractor Twitcher
I'm pretty certain you're correct Sean regards the Massey element of this project. I believe the front half is effectively a Massey Ferguson rotary combine whilst the rear half supports a large grain tank. It's a project that has now been developed by a farmer. Different, but hardly revolutionary.
Tractorman810
they have effectivley bolts a grain chaser on the back to save tractor use, dare say it will catch on

catkom3
Cheers David,I've been doing a bit of "Googeling" and according to one of the designers it has a very small turning radius, quote (The turn radius is extremely small (smaller than most Deere's or Gleaner's),that would be due to the articulation and the steering rear axle, presumably that is why it appears so wide, here is the story so far from the Combineforum,http://www.thecombineforum.com/forums/9-gleaner/42433-tribine-combine.html the Tribine website only went up last week, Regards Joe. Paul Palmer
nah,its not big enough ,its like david was saying in his lamma topic, everything is getting bigger, used to be 75-90 hp average tractor hp,must be double that now
Tractorman810
in principle it works, you need no tractors and chasers in the harvest , less cash spent all round in wages , fuel and machinery ,state side it could potentially take ages to get back across to the road to unload so good firm acess needed for the road trucks to get in and unload it
Deere-est
Still need chasers if the trucks cannot get in the fields as stopping to unload is money spent. So, cue the 2500 bushel chaser bin!

catkom3
If like me you were wondering what a 2000 bushel ( 25 ton ) chased trailer looks like, then here it is,never mind getting the Tribine through a 12foot gate what about this,?? More pictures and videos here,http://www.balzerinc.com/product-categories/field-floater-4-grain-carts/field-floater-iv-grain-carts Regards Joe. Jdeere6910
If the combine can hold 25ton, how much does it weigh fill? It's alright machines getting bigger but this year showed it's hard work with big machinery
Deere-est
I thought the chaser I used inthe USA was big, not to mention others I saw. That thing is huuuge!! Balzache maybe more appropriate!! Still, none of this kit is going to appear in Blighty for a long time yet. Kit like this I'd destined for Eastern Europe, Russia, The Americas and so on. catkom3
It does Paul, but the picture that really sums it up for me is this video grab I took, and that's the smaller two axle 1325,doesn't half make that artic look small, Regards Joe.
