reelpiper64
Well I have finally got round to making a layout ..... Willow-hill farm. We currently have a small herd of belted Galloway and Charolias cattle and some saddle back pigs. We buy and sell a few sheep now and again to. we hope to invest in some other more rarer breeds of cattle later in the summer. We do a little contracting work to local farmers and do all are own work with a fleet of masseys being the farms main work horses. This is a birds eye view of willow-hill HQ at present This is the saddle backs The Charolias are still in at the minute as we have plenty of silage left! Here's one of are farm workers graping in a bit of silage As we have a lot of silage left and its getting scarce a neighbour has bought a trailer load of us. This is tommy one of the other farm workers getting the farms fendt hooked onto a Kane half pipe to take a load of silage over We are busy getting some fertiliser sown this week, heres the 5430 with the vicon sower John the farmers son was busy ringing round the local agri suppliers pricing more fertiliser

Deere-est
Your farm sets a nice scene of mixed livestock and a smaller scale farm. Very Countryfile Look forward to seeing what else you introduce.

reelpiper64
well we had a dry spell of weather and a right crop of grass on a few of the silage fields so we decided to get it cut and bale it up. The massey 8280 done the mowing with front and side mounted claas mowers. While the 7480 Dyna VT and the McHale F550 baled it up and the 5480 was on wrapping duty with the McHale 991 BE wrapper. reelpiper64
Sorry haven't been posting much hard getting time to work on the layout. But I have decided that the old yard at willow hill farm will be getting restored and we will be using the sheds to house some smaller implements, animals and some vintage tractors. Picture will follow when i get the time shed 1 is near enough completed.

reelpiper64
The boss (Hector) was keen to get the vintage tractors into it over the summer months. A local vintage enthusiast dropped by in his old restored series 1 land rover to see the tractors which would all be attending the vintage rally next month. The Tractor Twitcher
Missed this one the first time around, lovely layout Luke. Very fine array of modified Massey Ferguson tractors you have there, and a fantastic line up of vintage tractors sat in the shed.

reelpiper64
Well I have a few long overdue updates. Firstly we traded in the 6190 for this 7499 with a front linkage. We also got a good deal on a new hispec tanker
reelpiper64
We got the second cut of silage in few weeks back. All was going well until the 960 lay down. The rain was on its way so we phoned a neighbour to see if he could come in his restored claas 690 to put in the last 20 acres. He was delighted to get the 690 out a run and it looked well along side are 699 and Fraser trailer.
