jordantaylor
Well its been a while since I've been on here and only reason really being that I have been working like mad here there and everywhere. Since I last posted I finished working at JRO Griffiths & Sons after the last of the potato stores were emptied for another season. I then went and worked a harvest for Mentmore Park Farms where I was loader driver contract clearing straw straight behind the baler across some major farms inc... Ascott farms, Toddington farms, Woburn farms and a few more. we cleared nearly 10,000 bales with 1 loader and between 3 and 5 trailers. And I've just Started back for JC & MW Suckley's on a new JCB on a straw laying gang on their carrot side of the business. I have had about 3 weeks off in total this year. I've been putting in some serious hours but I've got too say its going very well and I'm really enjoying myself. It hasn't all been machinery work though, far from it infact working at Griffiths. I did everything from soil sampling, grading and store cleaning to office work, Loader work etc... I handled all their potato seed in the spring, loaded all the trailers and so on. So here's a few photos from around and about where I've been working.
