Paul Palmer
one thing i have come across is the hubs and wheels are all one mould,i thought i could pop off the black hubs, but i cant,so some masking up is needed
CX820Joe
Are you going to paint the hubs yellow Paul?
Paul Palmer
Are you going to paint the hubs yellow Paul? no,the hubs will be black,im seriously thinking of asking convo if he will spray them for me,with black hubs,as per the real deal,i have sprayed the back of the wheels and its come out crap,i allways buy genuine paint, but this time i bought a pattern spray,i think its made by krempe? the parts guy said they use it alot, but after using it im not impressed
Paul Palmer
pictures and details on this convo will be kept to a minimuim,as not much different from the other 3230 i done, however this will be a 3230 xtra, the latest tier version with the only visible differences being yellow wheels and xtra decals on the cab,cab aerial, driver and warning decals done so far, convo,is kindly going to spray the wheels for me and do the xtra decals when i can get a good close up picture of them, the brochure does not have clear enough pictures of them,i will be getting the xtra pictures hopefully next week when a real machine is in a jcb depot
catkom3
This image any good Paul, http://www.usedjcbforsale.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/IMG_7631.jpg Probably not an xtra, Regards Joe.
Paul Palmer
thanks Joe,i do have that site in my favourites, you are right,it is not an xtra, the xtra decals i am on about is on the left and right of the cab roof, but i havent even got a good enough picture of them myself, the brochure does not show them up very well either, hence why the guy at the jcb dealership is going to send me pictures of them when the tractor arrives at their depot, sometime this week i think, thanks anyway Joe,you can just make them out on the cover of the brochure i have pictured, towards the back of the cab
Paul Palmer
and some work done on this one today, beacon, cab grab rails and worklights to the rear added
Paul Palmer
little alteration to the rear hitch,so implements other than britains will fit,i have cut off the little arm,to raise and lower the linkage and cut back flush a raised box that was mainly stopping other implements hooking up,one more coat of black to go on,ive added a picture of the britains standard linkage so you can see what i have cut off
