Had an hour up at the yard giving tractors a quick wipe over and then loaded the 465 up ready for tomorrow and Goosnargh and Longridge show... Hoping the forecast is wrong and the worst of the rain and thunder showers pass us but somehow think we'll get wet at some point tomorrow

Aye we did ok and didn't get to wet, though came a good downpour when we got back to shed and were getting unloaded. Was a good turnout though

Been a fortnight or so since I'd been up to the tractors so had a quick hour up at the yard yesterday, gave the 804 and 472 a drink of diesel and checked over the other vital fluids for a long and productive life before giving them a quick wipe down 😉 as they both out at the  local Chipping Ag show today, but the schedule fairly busy with a local charity road run a week Sunday and then the last local Ag show of the year the following Saturday, they both get a few hours on their clocks over the coming weeks.

Surprisingly though the 472 is better on diesel than the 804 despite the fact the 472 dragged the 465 to the last show we did.... Maybe Gemma has a heavy right foot 😂

Will hopefully get a few photos later

Nice few photos there Paul , sky looks ok in some then a bit black in others hope you missed any rain , we had a tidy downfall about 3pm till about 4.30ish , i was was about a mile away from farm on field wheels was so dirty i had to go across 4 other fields to get back to farm otherwise would have made a mess on the road , is that little Dave's JCB in photo

Cheers Smithy, yes weather been bit hit and miss today but better than the forecast mentioned, had a bit of a shower and it's rained again since we home but had threatened to rain most the day... Aye your spot on that's the little fellas JCB. Had bit of a catch up with John JMD and we both off on a short road trip tomorrow morning to go and have a catch up with a mate higher up the valley and have a look in his tractor shed😉

Not a bad run this morning a bit higher up the Valley with John JMD... Good natter with Tom and a look at almost a dozen tractors.... One in particular has been talked about before and has been talked about again today..... Nothing set in stone yet but given a bit of time and a few negotiations....I might have found our next project tractor...... Cheers John not been a bad couple hours 😉

Dropped by the shed after a few other jobs this morning and got the 472 out, radiator flushed through and drain bung removed out of block, good amount of rust washed out, bungs refitted and filled with a 50/50 antifreeze mix... Road tested again then both 472 and 804 topped up with a couple of gallon of diesel ready for Sunday's roadrun, which I'm led to believe involves a run through Gisburn forest on the timber haul roads

Yesterday's local charity tractor run raised an impressive £980 for a chemo unit at Blackpool Hospital.... I ended up flying solo as Gemma injured her back and thought 5 hours being bounced about in the 804 wouldn't do it much good, although Gemma did get some photos and videos of us on route... So as a rare treat because I don't get to drive it much these days I took the 804 for a tour about the Lancashire countryside along with John JMD in his 8340 and his son Matt in my ex 802.... A good day was had I reckon

Stunning views on your run ,nice sky say it was a good warm day ,thanks for showing

Cheers Smithy, in all honesty I should have taken the 465 with the weather the way it was... Perfect for a cabless.... But I don't get chance to drive the 804 that often since Gemma claimed it so thought I'd make the most of it 🙂
