SMurF
Our Lexion 460 tried that 10 days ago, chaff accumulated under guards over the course of the day got too hot from exhaust heat and started to burn. Any ideas what caused your Laverda to try it? The speed actuator on the fan collapsed and jamed so the belt just spun and got the metal hot which set fire to the belt Luckily I had gods fire extinguisher at hand and stopped it soon enough ;)

Gav836
doesnt quite work on 5/6 acres going up behind ya does it gav :D ,usally require your mates for that eh,norfolk fire brigade Worked on the last one where we had 12 small field fires we put out with the bowser, found they were caused by burning chaff under side guard on the combine, my 2 litres of drink put that out nicely :D :D
