Theres been so many IH & CASE 1255/ 1455 versions from different model makers in recent years, but in my view they were never the most desired machines in their power band in the late 80s early 90s............................so where are the 1 32 versions of quality for Ford 8210, TW15, 8630s and MF 2725, 3650 or 3655 or John Deere 4250, 4255, 4450, 4455??  These were the machines I preferred to the IH CASEs which to be honest were non existent around the Newmarket (West Suffolk) area I grew up in.

Unfortunately our style of tractors that were the big hits here like 8210s etc ...will never be recognised by Euro branded model  producers like Weise ,Replicagri & Schuco .. They are all for the mainland Europe classics . The Heritage range from Britains are the closest we have come to stuff more familiar to UK & Irish collectors & even tough some of the Heritage stuff has been quiet good ....they are still branded as a toy . So we kinda feel hard done by .. And when UH get there chance at our style classics .... They usually make a f- up of them .  That's the way the cookie crumbles I'm afraid .

point proven more irrelevant euro  models

Only irrelevant to the UK, they will no doubt sell well in Europe and Schuco are a European company so will probably make them good money.

If only there was a British model maker that made British models for the British collector, would be nice.....but the unions screwed everything up for this country in the 70's and 80's, baby boomers have sent house prices through the roof, and the weather here is rubbish.......sometime wonder why I stay here!!

Irrelevant to the Irish lad also . Would like to see Schuco & Weise have a crack at a few MFs & Fords for a change . It's mostly German green is what we are seeing with them . Maybe even a few Italian Sames & Lambos from the 80's & 90's era would also be nice .

I agree, it would be nice to see more of our native breeds done, but to be fair to Schuco, you can understand why they produce what they do given that they are a European company, I'm sure if we had a British manufacturer and they started producing models of tractors sold on the continent and not the home market we would all complain;)

Doncaster built IHs & Case, David Browns , Leyland , Marshal ,MuirHill, Roadless, County ....sure they can be got from specialist model builders .. at a cost !!! But it would be nice to get a few mass produced affordable ones . And there is still lots of MFs eg 165 ,188 ,290 & Ford 3cyl & some 6cyl 8210s etc also . Europe ain't going to give them !! Even tough we are in Europe !! Brexit makes sense now !!:D

We need a UK company like schuco and the likes but i doubt we ever will. It seems collectors in certain areas of Europe are spoiled for choice for models that was/are popular in there regions. I suppose the UK was a pretty unique area for tractors going back a few years when we had many in house built machines but alas today just like most of our industry its gone. Trouble is most if not all tractor manufacturers that was once popular in the UK are now consigned to history either with the company folding or merger upon merger. So any company wishing to delve deep into history and produce models specific to a UK customer base would have to be very brave or foolhardy to offer its products at a reasonable price.
