The old Britains 6600 is one of my all time favourite tractors ...was my very first toy tractor also . The 6600 was also one of my favourites as a boy, although i always wanted a 5000 with wider rear wheels as that was one of the tractors my father used to drive, in fact i spent hours as a kid stood in the front of the cab, slightly bent over as i was too tall to stand upright, but loving every minute ( no fancy passenger seats back then!) I agree Justin, I think the older models were just that bit finer, the later releases seem quite bulky in comparison and don't seem to capture the feel of the real tractors as well.
