Ferret90
Thought I would give this Deere a few tweaks i started off by painting the wheels a nice JD yellow (gloss) which made it look immediately better, its incredible the difference a bit of paint can make next to the standard ones leftcut the old beacon off, put a new one one and an aerial and a bit of mud on the wheels im not sure weather to leave the mud on the tires or take it off Next to a stock one...not a big conversion but just a few things seem to have boosted it nicely

Ferret90
Just taking some bits off this old 3650 I weathered a while ago. Hoping to build a 3 point for it and un-weather it a bit
844john
It becomes an obsession Ted, once you start building proper rear linkages you become obsessed, looking at other tractors in your collection and no longer finding their original linkages acceptable, trying to fit more and more detail into the new hitch, tiny pins, chains, stabiliser bars, spools, it just goes on and on.........or so I've been told anyway! Hahaha, yes I can see what you mean, i was just looking at the hitch and thought I might as well have a try at making a better looking one, the last one I tried was on the 6920 and that went alright so. I have thought about buying them but where's the fun in that
alf aphid
I’m always tempted by the look of a better hitch, but put off be the lack facility to potentially display with machines, when I get my display area one day !!
Ferret90
3 point done ,Still need some more bits here and there and some bits painting, not the most detailed but good enough for me...
Ferret90
Painted the wheels matt yellow and started on the weathering, a bit more suttle this time. I also found some thicker tires, off an old Britains valmet, and they seem to be a perfect fit compared to the old one :
