phil phoenix Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 I'm looking for a 4x4 pick up (Not Land Rover) to pull my Braemere fuel bowser but am finding it hard to see anything worthwhile!! Anyone have any suggestions? Quote
Hair Bear Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 Majorette do/did have a Ford F350, or it's a rebuild of the Britains service truck perhaps? Quote
fordmajor Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 1.35 hilux tamiya i think britains transit flat bead Quote
James Joe Dewar Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 I think Tayumo is about as good as it get's and they are 1/32nd. Sound Chinese but are if fact Dutch, https://www.tayumo.com/en Regards Joe. Quote
Cornish-model-farm Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 Unfortunately most 1/32 4X4s seem to be left hand drive - I don't buy LHDs, they look silly on a British farm layout. I have a couple of second-hand RHD Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 vehicles made in China, but no manufacturer's name on them. Quote
Hair Bear Posted December 29, 2023 Posted December 29, 2023 (edited) The Scalextric L322 RR is nice in silver but obviously not a pick up. Edited December 29, 2023 by Hair Bear Quote

phil phoenix Posted December 29, 2023 Author Posted December 29, 2023 Thanks for the options guys, some nice ones there but it needs to have a tow hitch to pull the bowser. I plumbed for the black Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 with the tow hitch as thats the kind of vehicle farm hands use when travelling distances to fuel foragers etc. Its in black which helps hide the fact its LHD which I can live with. 3 Quote
Hair Bear Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Not great photos, but you get the idea, Majorette F350... Quote

Hair Bear Posted January 6 Posted January 6 If it was a kit to print, could you not reverse print the interior parts for rhd? Quote
SPN Posted January 6 Posted January 6 These two can be found on eBay every so often, if you want an 80s/90s pick up. I believe the moulds are now owned by https://atlantis-models.com , so there is a possibility they could be reissued at some stage 1 1 Quote
Hair Bear Posted January 6 Posted January 6 You've just reminded me I should have both of those, and the 2wd versions in the loft somewhere. Quote

James Joe Dewar Posted January 6 Posted January 6 There is a very well detailed Haflinger in 1/32nd scale, It is tiny and expensive, and being resin it is static, the wheels dont even turn, I have one as one of my cousins went to school in one 50 odd years ago, And I've wanted one ever since, https://www.mo-miniatur.com/Haflinger-CH Regards Joe. 2 Quote
