3/4 done  on a new book shelf for the kitchen, made out of off cut high gloss pannels left over from the kitchen when it was put in,i never throw anything out .  aims is to match the kitchen unit finish with a oak   rear, and round edge high gloss sides/shelfs, custom sized to fit into a particular corner, worktop up to ceiling height wise,  no screws ,  all dowel fitted and glued, so far everything cut, all shelfs doweled up and one side pannel marked and drilled, one more side to do, then final fix and glue. couldnt get anything like this when we put the kitchen in, so we over ordered on a oak end pannel to do this, rest is as mentioned, is left over off cuts .

I went to 3 local builders merchants and asked about panels and posts and price they was all about the same I then went to another well now supplier based at Walsham-le-Willows and there panels was stronger then other ones and £7 a panel cheaper which included VAT other places was + VAT concrete posts was £3 cheaper than other places ,and because I am a member of a buying group that this company deals with I got another 15% discount,  so the money I saved on the big panels and posts bought 2 small panels 1 gate and hinges and 5 wooden posts 5foot long , happy days

I really like that as I also collect a few diecast army vehicles. You did a nice job on that. I have one half-track M16 MGMC,  3rd Armored Division from Aachen Germany, 1944. Tamiya produces good model kits.

Ok, thanks and I will post them here in hopes that it is appropriate and that the forum moderator does not mind. These are the three that I have. The Jeep was from a kit, the others are diecast,

Today was the warmest Spring day we have had, about 77°. I cut down a small evergreen that was blocking the sun and stunting the growth of another pretty flowering tree in the backyard. So, the RAV4 and I made a trip down into the woods to distribute the cuttings. The birds will also use them for shelter. The lovely flowers seeded themselves in the woods from seeds either wind blown or carried from a home nearby with a squirrel or two. The woods are full with squirrels. Things are just starting to turn green here.
