ihatepoundland
First combine today, working about a third of a mile away so pics not great, very slow machine....anyone know anything about these? This one is owned by the farmer (the one running the fendts on the silage) they have a series of silos in an old farmyard seperate to their farm with an auger, I believe because artics can not easily get to their actual farm and because this other yard is directly connected to these fields
ihatepoundland
Last one, poor I know, I'm going to wait until they move onto the fields nearer the back of the house before annoying them with the camera

nashmach
Must be very high yielding as there is some swath of straw :o
Pingu
They were the smallest of the TX range similar size to the lexion 405 and MF 32 so designed for smaller farmers 500-700 acres And great pictures rob
ihatepoundland
Thanks, that would make sense. If i get a chance when I'm taking the pics another time I'll ask what the yield is, there is deffinatly a great deal of straw
Gav836
Must be very high yielding as there is some swath of straw :o If our barley is anything to go by it seems to be a good year for straw, even in a 2t/acre crop our 25' Lexion 460 was leaving a swath up to your waist or approx 3' high

Deere-est
Underneath the tin and the cab aside these are hardly any different from the TX32 which I spent three harvest's piloting. Smashing combine that was, nothing too technical about it. It cut crops like Ronseal stains wood. Simple, reliable and easy to use and service. I would like to think this TX62 is the same. ihatepoundland
Thanks Joe, they were taken in Somerset, unfortunatly the field was quite far away, you can see it in the background of many of these pics; interesting looking back to see how green it all was a month ago; http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=8778.0 And more recent http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=9361.0 http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=9384.
CX820Joe
Excellent, they're the sort of photos I like to see. The evening/dusk ones are first class. Don't worry about the field being too far away, I think that sort of photo is great - gets all the scenery in. Joe
