Guy next door to me was trying to plough down pea stubble with a one way KV plough when it was to dry last fall,he made a real mess and still could'nt drill untill late when it rained. Pingu
I drove a 6920 last week and hated hydraulics was slow didnt like the feel of the gearbox and the colour scheme and way whole dash moves with wheel hated it the case mx170 was nicer

People who have to pay the repair bills don't underestimate the 20 series! I'm told there are major reliability probs with the engine, tranny and backend. The Fendt dealers' yards are full of second hand 20 series.

Pingu
john deeres are the most reliable make of agricutural vehcals ever made its when people negelct them they get like that I know of alot of 20 sereis that screwed up long before warranty was up even when they were a week old and still in dealer care for them to do that is just a bad product i dont care what people say the 20 series was a massive let down

Too many of the 6020 and 7020 series have had backend and fuel system problems to be called reliable
Pingu
:o :o Now that is a first but then it is a well known fact, quite a few 7920 and 6920 here have gone in for 818's etc as they just were to unreliable
Light Land
I'm not sticking up for John Deere tactors here but.... Ever think for a minute that the expreance leval of the driver has a fair amount to do with it ? You will never make a good job in a tractor that you don't know very well, only after time will get the feeling for the way the tractor pulls and start to know just how low you can let the revs be pulled down before the tractor has no chance of pulling the revs back. Things like checking the flow rate dial is in the right place or checking that the plough is pulling even on the 2 lower links make a massive diffrance no mater what brand of tractor you drive or looks best in a booklet.
