PDC
would it be possible to cast that bonnet and possibly make a 68/6910 with it I have cast the bonnet and had 7810 decals made For a 68 or 6910 you need to lengthen a 6410 ;)

CJ
I have cast the bonnet and had 7810 decals made For a 68 or 6910 you need to lengthen a 6410 ;) that sounds complicated \ i know it wouldnt be a perfect replica but if you put that bonnet on a siku 6920s chassis and did a bit with the cab to make it look like a 6910 \ \ what do you think

Kiwi6920
Look foward to this one in anticipation! Cab always seems to be the hardest part to get right! i found that to be the easyest part... Im still trying to get the bonnet sorted \ I have now done 7 and they are all in the bin... i cant get the slope to look as it should... i have brush painted the model so it doesnt look that good... if i do more im going to have a shot at air brushing it.... Powerstarâ„¢
What did you use as a cab?
Kiwi6920
What did you use as a cab? The MTX cab.. It looks the part... only a true jd nut can tell the roof line is a little to thinck and that the fornt window has a bit to much curve... It looks the part tho
Kiwi6920
here is a pick in jd colours with no bonnet... should give you a idea as to what i mean I need to touch the paint up... what is the best way to take the old paint of?? Graeme
Try the ZTX cab. It is a little thinner on top.
alpinefocus
that sounds complicated \ i know it wouldnt be a perfect replica but if you put that bonnet on a siku 6920s chassis and did a bit with the cab to make it look like a 6910 \ \ what do you think Spalding hey? ummmmmm
Powerstarâ„¢
Definately far to curvyCan't you adapt a Britains JD 7920 cab?
MJB1
it's no good i have to say it , everything about the tractor is great , all except the cab , it's just not right why has no one cast an ertl cab from the 6200 / 6410 ?
Powerstarâ„¢
I don't like to be picky but it's just my main critisism, If you get the cab right the whole tractor looks right. If only someone would cast the JD 8400 Presicion cab! I agree Marcus, it's definately not right.
