Graham's Work

Interesting pictures as usual Graham :)

We're in the early stages of having a new building put up at work at the moment but the council planning department are dragging their heels and coming up with some pretty funny conditions of granting permission at the moment, one of which being the planting of hedfing and trees to screen the new building from the village.......as if the other barn of the similar length in front of that isn't going to do it anyway ::);D  Is this something common that you come across as you go round various farms?

thanks gav

planning sometimes can be slow gav they want you to jump through hoops ,but most farmers keep applying its just all the extra cost ,we have most trouble with silos ,and after the jobs have been done lately with light pollution from houses that are up to 4 miles away ,that can be a problem as the trees  dont grow quick enough ,what is your building for .

Its a 2000 ton insulated potato store with temperature controlling fans measuring 30m x 30m x 6.5m to the eaves, the decision is now one month overdue, there's been no objections by anyone in the village or any other parties either. We need to know whats going to happen so we can make other plans if they refuse it for this years harvest.
