You haven't lived until you are careering down a narrow lane at 40k, 18 tonnes of silage behind you, black smoke to the heavens, and then you meet a muppet in a Micra who can't reverse. There is also the joy of being the 8th load out through a mucky gap - it's usually the 8th that gets bogged to the axles. I can't believe you were allowed get married without having drawn silage. I spose its sandy down in Ards Direction which would help a bit with drainage. Depending on weather and time etc we'll probably do a total of around 40 or 50 acres of 2nd cut........One or two of the smaller fields will not be touched this time........Still got one field of hay to cut as well but there's a hell of a lot of docks in it........
