BRITMYLES
As the next ftf model is going to be a County does this mean that there is likely to be another county going on general release by Britains. Like the 6600 from last year was based on the general release 5000. Cant see RC2 re-designing the front grill just for a limitd edition model. Perhaps a County 1164 could be on the way? Perhaps Andy may be able to shed some light on this?

BRITMYLES
Possibly a Roadless then! All that would take is smaller wheels on the front and colour change.
Eurodeere
Roadless tractors are longer than their Ford brothers. This is due to the transfer case added onto the gearbox housing to transfer drive to the front axles. Hence Britains should not just badge the 5000/7000/6600/7600 model as a Roadless because it would not be an accurate representation of the real tractor
BGU
How about a real unusual and probably a good seller - a County Seahorse?

james f
How about a real unusual and probably a good seller - a County Seahorse? The real ones were only based on Fordson Majors, though some copies based on 754s(Ford5000) and such like have been made. As I see it, the options from this casting are County 754, 764, 944 and

FordTractorCrazy
hmm.. i believe i have read on a different forum site that britains would be releasing a 1164 county.. Dont believe they would actually mind a screw up in length of the casting as there have been soooooo many examples in the past where 4 and 6 cilinder tractors were equally long .. SPN
It'll be a 754. If they badge it as a 6 cylinder model I won't be responsible for my actions!
sparrow legs
an 1174 would be great my friends father owns a real one fully restored
BRITMYLES
Britains have plenty of options for both 5000 & 7000 castings without them having to label a model up wrong. I would say the most obvious choises would be: 5000 Casting 774 Equal sized wheels and white County style cab 6600-four Smaller front wheels Early models had the County style white cab & later versions had Ford bubble Q cab. 6700-four very similar to the above with white County Style cab. Main difference was Ford 6700 style gearbox. 7000 Casting 964 Equal sized wheels and white County style cab 7600-four Smaller front wheels Early models had the County style white cab & later versions had Ford bubble Q cab. 7700-four very similar to the above with white County Style cab. Main difference was Ford 7700 style gearbox. I will try and post pictures of a few of these.

Andy
Interesting ideas there. I think the 774 would be difficult to do without retooling the bonnet. I think the 754 would be an option though perhaps
FordTractorCrazy
the 6600 four etc.. are probably a little bit too different from the model.. but the 754 and tractors close to that size are possibilities.. nice collection of folders btw..
