Typical, look at the state of that plinth.. :o.. and they say RC2's QC is in need of a shake up!  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

looks nice few little niggles  like the tracks, but heres a question for the fordy, would it normally have the newer style pick up hitch and the older pin type fited at the same time, never seen that on any real tractor that i can remember

Posted

maybe at the time of making the tracks the wheels were set in for something now set out a bit for potatoe work or something  ;D ;D ;D ;D

are the decals right or wrong?

Posted

was just thinking the same about the plinth and not sure about the rear tyres :-\

Don't get me started....as I've said before I'm not going to publish all the faux pas here, but the drawbar is used with the pick-up hitch in place, but not the other way round.

Decals are sort of right for a late (revised) version but are not complete. You'll have to wait for ours to compare. 8);):)

I think UH have done a great job on this one but i don't know unless i have miss it on here they have cocked up abit as Ford 5000 were and still are 4 cylinder engines and 2000/3000/4000 tractors were 3 cylinder engines and if you look at the pump there is only three injector pipes coming away :o

In  a word Ricky, yes. There will be hundreds (or perhaps 100) eagerly awaiting an answer to this!  ;D

Well she won't start anyway with the 3 cyl injector pump :D :D

Some small things - I'd agree with Nigel the decals are not postioned exactly correctly - seat is completetly wrong and I'm not sure on the ploughing lamp - crease in the bonnet is too severe and yes Powerrabbit the grilles were made from preforated steel in reality - that hitch just looks wrong - by the way Ricky what holds the linkage up and down ???

I wont be doing anything with it, don't think one will even come into my collection as I'm not realy into 1/16 scale stuff and I'm not over impressed by the model

I think they got the nose cone wrong, it looks too 'domed' at the top, and yeah there's only three injector pipes!! Don't see much wrong with the linkage though except the arms are lying in a bit, and there's screws everywhere :o
