I've been thinkin on a rear camera on combine, dad seems to reverse into things with it every now and again!!

any cheap suggestions??

or will the lens just get dusty and be pointless??

I know this is  plug mate but your JD dealer will have a good deal on at the moment as they should be on promotion for the coming season.

Also check out road haulage websites too Ricky as they are legislation in a lot of places like utility, quarry, where workers/members of the publi are at risk.

You have one mounted on the dash board then mate yes? So you can see over the steering wheel??

How rude. ... The tipper I was on last week had one on the back and one on the top of the cab for loading the body. Monitor had two channles, one for each camera. Fancey bit of kit mind!

I had one on the Lexion Ricky, got it off ebay, only a black and white one but it was perfect for the job. Used to just give the camera a wipe over every few days, gave a good view of the header trailer on the road as well

not allowed to have a tv or monitor on on the road  ;) stupid law really  ::)

cant on a car or bus ect but not so sure on agri stuff, seen a few fitted round this way, lot safer for most cases to, especially if stuck in a lane, as long as its not distracting other road users, and is for saftey i belive they are ok, if hes watchng porn or some other film, then maybe not :D :D :D

:D :D :D not allowed on a lorry  ;)  but busses have monitors  ;) as the ones my father drives have them  ;):) one on the back one on the front and 3 inside  :)

local farmer has them on his corn trailer tractors, there mounted on a pole on the cab roof so the drivers can see into the trailers (very high grain trailers) they do look funny thoe having a camera wobbeling about on top of the cab :D
