  1. Barry, you wanted to see a few more of my models - so here goes. This lot were made about ten years ago. I used to get the kits from the late Dennis Goodburn, who used to help Brian Parks before Nigel Ford had the business. Before anybody says the models aren't built to the correct specs - they are built to my own specification, which is basically if it looks right then it is right - if that makes any sense! COUNTY SUPER 6
  2. Unfortunately we won't be going to Peterborough this year Mark 'cos it clashes with Harolds show at Rheged, Penrith. Just a bit to far North for you Southerners eh Marky! But we will be going to Newark !
  3. Barry - Malvern is nowt like ToyTrac really. There are model displays but its not a dedicated model show - however more dispalys are appearing every year. Its a real mixture of everything. There are plenty of traders with new and obsolete models etc, and usually loads to rummage around in for those of us who like to do the odd conversion. The big display of full size tractors is good to see, and is really useful for getting measurements and photos for the model making. There are plenty of spares to be had as well for our older full size machines as well as the newer ones. It is a good weekend - even if it too cold!! We will be there for definite - whatever the weather! So get yourself there Marky, and get the hankies out - its not that far North!!
  4. Marky - as far as we know its usually the 1st weekend in March - but that could be Saturday 28th Feb next year, just waiting for confirmation so we can get booked in somewhere. Its at the Three Counties Show Ground in Malvern, Worcestershire.
  5. :D glad you got home safely... great laugh we had too... thanks to both of you for being such great company... I'm going to risk a nose bleed and come up your way for this show I reckon Which show was it - all that tea has gone to my brain and I can't remember which one was likely to cause the nosebleed - was it Malvern?!
  6. Jolly good to hear that old boy. Our bread and dripping was absolutely spiffing tonight!
  7. Marky - just thought you might like to know that we called at a mates "ont way up for't brew and med it ome bart half 8" Did you manage to get a brew or did you ave a pot o tea!
  8. Hi Dawn and Maurice - just wanted to let you know that you have the most well mannered and polite son anyone could wish for. He is an absolute credit to you - and the forum!
  9. Had a great weekend away and meeting a really good gang of people. Its good to know that there are still people around that will go out of their way to help others - Graham and Sharon deserve a big thanks from everyone for helping Adam get to ToyTrac!
  10. Really looking forward to TT now - just tomorrow morning to work then off down the M6! Looks like a Saturday night off from the model making - sure it will be worth it though. See you all there - or at The Crossways 1st.
  11. We have just booked into Crossways for the night - looking forward to Toytrac for the 1st time !
  12. We should be able to get there - but can you post up the address of the show's site so we can find you! Cheers
  13. Again - thanks for posting up the pictures from today, great to see them. It was a good day out even if the weather was a bit crap, and it was good to meet up with a few fellow forum folk! I got some bargains out of scrap bins for future projects - amazing what you can find if you dig a bit! The Travelodge at Springfields is definitely recommended - in fact we have just booked our room for Aprils show. Thanks again Marky.
  14. Went up to Lanark. Excellent show with many excellent stands and displays. Had a good chat to Harold, The Lancashire Lads on Tour and Andrew Anderson with his new display. Also had a nice talk with Michelle and Graham of G & M, and finally nice to meet you Bill (BC). Looking forward to Spalding now next weekend!
