Yep 1st one is Britains, has the pug ugly driver. Second is Siku, no driver and I think I see Siku on the wheels.

I think the 1st Massey is Britains, the 2nd one maybe Siku. and I could laso be handy a numpty award as I am not 100% sure

Don't forget the "cow" one as well.

Hi Bill, Mine is nearly all new. Like to keep up with the times. Plus alot of the older Britains sell for crazy money.

I think any where from ?12 - ?25. They did a few other sets as well Farm - horses, cows, sheep, tractor Zoo - Lions, crocodiles, elephant They also did a scuba diver scene, cowboys & indians, knights. The soccer scene, knights & tractor are the rarest. I have only seen these each once on eBay, they would probably fetch ?25 and up.

A couple of Herald/Britains boxed animal sets. (I think Herald made some of the best animals in the lineup)

On another note, just thought I'd mention this thread is the longest by views and by replies.

I always look for a bargain (obviously), but sometimes I end up paying the shop price plus postage. Just no other option

When Britians were numbering the lead items in the early years, they left gaps in the numbering system. This is believed to be so that when new items were added they were included in the same categories. I noticed today that the items for 2004 release were numbered 40***. Anything for 2005 release is numbered 42***. Will 2006 be 44*** ?? Have to wait and see. They may still be leaving gaps so that as new models are added they will fit in the numbering system.

The radio controlled one doesn't have a scale(they are calling the 24 inch model I believe) Release date is about Oct/Nov.

I thought it would be a good idea to make one of those, possibly a conversion of the Animal Transporter?
