I thought the casting looked a bit basic myself.....maybe they just used thatcasting as it was a pre-production sample. Any pics of the Britains 6600 anyone??

I see the seller has finally reduced his rates and got rid of the "buy it now" button. His postage still leaves a lot to be desired.

Let's hope the Swiss maids NewHolland2 brings back with him are worth keeping.

Where did you see that Farmer4life, I know they are making a remote controlled one, but having a wir connected to the tractor just spoils all the fun.

Nice looking tractor........I picked up a TG255 in 1/64 scale nice tractor only the black circle on the rear wheels drives me nuts, it just looks weird. Are they supposed to have this??

Hi Nigel, Do you collect 1/64 scale also? The first pic posted at the top of this thread is a 585(or so it says on the bonnet unless my eyes are getting old) but you said it's a 885XL. Which one are you looking for ?? or are you looking for both??

I stil like my Britains, and will continue to collect, BUT I may have to set up a shelf or two or ten for some of those UH's and a couple of Siku's for good measure Where did you get the red cow valtra from Q ?

Do you want hand out the Numpty awards for this FP? I can't believe no one commented on the fact it was red. Or perhaps they didn't because it's not that uncommon??

I think FP is referring to the fact that it is red. Most were blue. If it is not a repaint, surely it would be rare in the red colour.

Is there a particular reason that the loader is on the back of these.? Am I correct is saying you face the engine to drive it? and turn the other way to operate the loader?? Seems a bit daft to me, why not just use a front loader?

Had another peek at the pic and by the look of it, it's either a tiny remote or a big tractor, ( my bet's on a big tractor).
