I checked to see if these had been posted so far, hopefully they haven't. Fendt website lists them as in stock. Got some nice details on it, that's for sure. One is a better version of the image posted above in this thread, I'm assuming the tipper version is also Weise, seems to come with wider rear tyres. I also assume the two front rams (doing nothing) on the hoe version are for the tipper?

New manufacturer - Imber Models - Ford 5640
ihatepoundland replied to Barry's topic in Other Farm Models
Value might go down if they do an offical 6640 industrial! -
With talk of supermarkets screwing over farmers and with the need to support our own countries producers, I often wonder why 70% of the tractors purchased are not built in the UK?
-
Something just doesn't look right to me about that Trelleborg'd Massey. Maybe it's because the tyres are too solid and don't have the substantial sidewall bulge you'd expect? \

To what extent has the recession affected the hobby?
ihatepoundland replied to FNHIR's topic in General Hobby Discussion
Looking on the plus side - the Euro is bombing! 15 to 20% off, if the savings get passed on. -
Border Fine Arts - Tractors, Horses and Lorries
ihatepoundland replied to BC's topic in Border Fine Art Sculptures
I knew that, but as the 3350 wasn't built until 1986, with production ending in 1993, this would be a '93 L reg and therefore would should have a reflective type. -

Wonder why the tractor has the old style black and white number plate? -

Thanks for the answer. The ROS website says; ROS, which is flexibility-oriented and counts on a free operating structure, has chosen to have all moulding, assembling and painting operations made out-house; the company provides though final assembling, shipments and strict quality checks on every single item. This company policy lets ROS offer much more competitive prices and high quality products, thus confirming its success in Italy and abroad. So I assume, like you say, one factory making models for many companies.
-
This might seem a silly question, but is it possible Replicagri are ROS in the same way Imber Models are?
-
Nice one Britains! Will these be enough to quash the doubters?
-
As a seller, you would have to be insane to offer paypal on a collection. It is impossible for a seller to prove that it has been collected without tracking numbers, so all a buyer has to do is claim that "it never showed up" and they get a refund and the item.
-
Judging by the other threads, only a few of us will be buying Britains, but that Massey is going to come this way, got some really nice boots on it.
-
I hope they do the MF with a front weight option...those linkages (which I know people do change aftermarket - but I'm looking for original models) take the edge of what otherwise appear to be amazing models, in my opinion.
-
When I started, I wanted to buy everything, the complete set. Since then I've realised you have to look at each model and decide if you really want it, if it is not good enough for you to treasure, don't buy. I've stopped making conversions for a while now as I know that most likely a much better factory made version will come along and so it is better wait rather than devalue other model(s) in the process of creating one. So now that I collect what i want, I don't mind, for example, that my original New Holland TM165 will soon be outclassed as to me it has an attraction in the balance it strikes as a toy. I look forward to soon owning a replica as well.
-
Holy moly, I'm now very glad a 3800 hasn't made it to my collection.
-
I thought last year was a bumper year for the collector, now we have great and diverse models coming out left, right and centre. You just don't know who is going to do what next!

I support the idea of free trade but I don't think that Fair Trade TM is fair at all. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/earthnews/3326576/Fairtrade-fails-to-tackle-poverty-report-says.html

The bronze Valtra copy made £103! The seller seems to do a top notch paint job but I just don't know if it is the right thing to do? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SIKU-FENDT-936-VARIO-LIMITED-EDITION-BLACKLINE-BEAUTY_W0QQitemZ110489477187QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN?hash=item19b9afa043

New Holland T8040 with front and rear duals
ihatepoundland replied to FNHIR's topic in Ertl Farm Models
Looks like they might have gone back a step with the duals, unlike the Case 335 version, they've copied the inside front wheels, hub and all. -
Would the ends from the old blue bale trailer fit? I think it's the same casting? If it does, they should.

Photo Booth for taking pictures of Models in
ihatepoundland replied to PDC's topic in General Hobby Discussion
This kind of thing: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/80CM-PHOTO-SOFT-BOX-LIGHT-TENT-CUBE-4-COLOUR-BACKDROP_W0QQitemZ270519098558QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Photography_StudioEquipment_RL?hash=item3efc31dcbe You need a few bright lights or just use it outside/near a window on a bright day. You could go for a smaller size if you only photograph unboxed 1/32. -

I don't think you can beat a light tent for this kind of work, an 80cm cubed one sets you back £15, folds flat when not in use and you can change the background colours, these are what the pros use afterall.
