  1. A credit crunch RC combine, using one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370232122227&viewitem=&salenotsupported And a MF 760.
  2. So glad I held off buying the 818/820 all these years, this is what I want, some decent duals on a UH model.
  3. Yeah, the current batch going through are badly described, the seller didn't state that they were UH, listed for 3 days and initially had them solely in the Other Vintage/ Classic Toys section - that doesn't help prices
  4. This model won't be everyone's cup of tea, not even mine before I bought it; I'd normally much rather have a more popular model but the price of this was too cheap to ignore. I took these photographs for eBay but ended up deciding to keep it, so here they are for FTF
  5. Ah, I did a search but they use different names. It was good to see some better pictures, deffinatly not bad for £4. There are a few on ebay but they are around 7.99 with implements - a bit rich for me at that price.
  6. http://www.loyalbright.com.hk/farm.html Some aspects look close but not identical to Siku, such as the front hitch and implement design. Obvious cost cutting in the amount of diecast/non enclosed tyres.
  7. I know of the British Gas and B.T versions of the landrover, were there any other branded with different utilities? How long were these produced for? They don't seem to be too common?
  8. 3350 is much to big I would have thought
  9. Some LCN models seem popular, some aren't. I think this one will be the latter.
  10. I think cost would be the only thing potentially holding back sales, if they are a reasonable cost, I'd imagine they could be popular, there are quite a few big artics out there that they'd suit.
  11. I can't remember if I saw one in David Pullen's book or not, but I suspect there would probably have been some mention on here if legit. I thought there was something wrong with the camera when I first saw it
  12. I do wonder where the next generation of smaller, used combines are coming from for the smaller independant farmer in the U.K? I guess they rarely buy new so not as important to the manufacturers.
  13. I think this has the potential for degenerating into a slagging match, so I'll be careful. Simple facts are; I ordered a model, made no mistakes in my order but ended up with a damaged model and a degree of abuse.
  14. Oddly, yes (in the last 12 months), one neutral; Sorry, check what you put on ebay, saves alot of trouble, only sell what u got Buyer:xxxxxx ( 61 [Feedback score is 50 to 99] ) 22-Jan-09 11:50 Reply by this troublesome seller (22-Jan-09 14:38): What trouble?? You got a full refund stop crying and dry your eyes!!! Seems to sum the guy up. Quite a lot of corgi sized things, maybe they stand up abit better due to less mass
  15. This person is a dealer, carries the full UH range (I'm not sure for how long as the feedback items are private). I've had it happen from other sellers before to various degrees of destruction, it just seems pretty obvious....if you can't drop the package from the desk to the floor without it being damaged, it probably won't get there intact
  16. That's useful. Proportionally they seem to have got the front and rear wheels right but maybe made the front rims a bit too small It all kind of looks pretty good, but maybe not a pretty tractor
  17. Thanks all, in the hands of the paypal gods now It's the principle of it for me, you buy something new, you get something new. I don't think a buyer should ever be disadvantaged by the seller's or postal services failure to achieve that.
  18. It's getting worse....I'm letting paypal talk to him now. Ebay user is the same as the forum, although feedback will only be left after the dispute.
  19. Ok...well here we go..it'll be good to get this off my chest I bought a "new" & "sealed" Claas Xerion, described as being in Perfect condition. It arrived wrapped in a plastic bag with the thinest layer of bubble wrap underneath - no protection to the cellophane. The box looked like it had been involved in an air drop. I accept that models do get damaged by rough Royal Mail troops, but this one didn't have a hope from the outset. I can live with shelf wear, but when the damage gets beyond that, we all know the value of the item goes down quite steeply in the long term. I wasn't planning on selling on, but that's irrelevant when buying a new item in my opinion. So I contacted the seller to let them know that it had arrived damaged. The item was sent recorded, so it was insured. I will point out that the Seller's return conditions deny any responsibility for damage in transit, which basically you can't. I got this wonderful reply:
  20. Snap! That gun metal one is an absolute bargin when you think about how crazy the prices have got in the past for items like that. And the Britains connection with the yellow fords is great as well.
