You could try a blackish/brown wash over the top to dull it? I quite like the effect, the tiles could almost be glistening under the sun after a heavy shower. Perhaps you could even add some algae/moss to age it?

This is a great idea from Tim and something I need to consider myself having been self-employed for nearly a year now, and discovering word-of mouth has its limits. It's also a food idea to apply directly for harvest work now as big employers tend to go look at agri colleges for fresh recruits at around this time of year (if they haven't done so already) and are less likely to look at small ads.
