  1. i'd find myself in a great deal of trouble if i couldn't trailers arn't really a problem , as said before , the more you do it the less you have to think about it. as for turntable trailers ? depends if my wits are about me my skill with these trailers go from first time every time to shouldn't of got out of bed in the first place . the trailer i use at work is a rearsteer, great for manuverability. it can get in the tightest of yards within reason, but getting in isn't the problem , it's getting out again that causes the headaches , when farmer says ARTIC OK , i'm wary , the milk artics are ok to get the milk , but feed bins arn't where the milk tanker has to go
  2. looks very well dan , will these be for sale on your site as well as the trailers ? could be onto a good thing there
  3. tidy little plough you got ther will you keep buying ploughs at this rate mike , you'll soon become a dealer
  4. really depends on how often you want to do this sort of thing mike , if yer really serious about it & it's going to be a regular thing , then the expence of buying another wheel will be offset against the downtime of haveing to mess about changing the centres all the time , if i'm right , its not just the rims that have to be unbolted to change from 72 -60 the dishes have to be reversed as well , thats a lot of time spent doing all that
  5. just gets better & better mark :) just hope you have enough ideas for when i start at the new place
  6. i seem to be permanently annoyed, so you could say nothing has surprised me today \
  7. i think most of us 35+ wish camera phones & digital camera's were about back in the day , would of saved a lot of money on developing & batteries , & film etc, etc. grief ! did i say back in the day ? i'm starting to sound like jdc you know technology makes us get old quicker \ sure i've read that earlier today ?
  8. looking really good matty , but any idea what you'll be useing for the chains ?
  9. nice tractors to opperate , the 77, 7800 & the 77 & 7810's were popular round here with the big baler drivers
  10. nice fleet of tractors & machinery :)
  11. whatever the decision , if this one is saved then another will be scrapped for parts anyway \
  12. diary ? should be called ollivers rollercoaster
  13. very nice tractor mate really likeing that got a hankering to get me a few case's as well jas
  14. ohh deere jez well done , what a cracking tractor it's turned out to be :)
  15. any chance you could get another wheel for the tractor mike , as would think it quicker & easier to change the whole wheel , rather than the turning the centres ?
  16. ah the size spring for the lever ! got ya , yeah all the levers had those , you might like to try a ciggarette lighter , under the flint there's a small spring perfect for what you need , & yes the 'perrys' bale squeezer was around . a rigid bar was fixed close to the driver & a wire rope was connected to the bar & the bale squeezer, so effectively it would be a paralell lift
  17. brilliant , good to see a small farm setup without 15 200hp+ tractors jammed in everywhere :)
  18. sean mate . an absolute stunner ! :P regarding the forks & bucket there wasn't a spring to pull the forks back, the fork would just swing back into place , because of where the pins were located on the fork , with a load of dung on the front, it would tip , then without the weight of dung, the weight of the forks backplate would swing it back upright , the bucket however did use a spring , but they never really lasted long thus the reverse to drag it back into position. most buckets had the pin trip hole built into a block of metal & welded onto the bucket, which also had holes for the provision of a ram on the top
  19. if i remember rightly, the rota spreader worked in reverse when hooked up to a powerfarm tractor , i have a TW25, TW35, 1884 & JAG690 , wouldnt have a clue if any of them still work , but one day i may buy some batteries & have a look see
  20. all good things come to those who wait ......................................deere lord we're still waiting ben \ farm looks good mate , keep it going
