  1. easy driver mate thanks mark , but it was the 9 hole bar that cost me a few quid not the stabilizers unfortunately they're ok for the time being , but a couple of the threads on the turnbuckles arn't great , but will do me for now , but for £20 off that 675 i'm happy enough . MF parts list would have set me back £34 per complete turnbuckle unit or sparex ones £25 complete with chains but it's down to cost at the moment............................ matter of fact it's always about cost worked a treat as well john mudguards oh yeah............................. :) POW POW POW BRRRRRRRAH 8) YO.......................er......................... thanks alex \
  2. first up what i bought at ron greet's first stabilizer & check chains & a 9 hole bar found at a farmers while delivering his feed , not bad for a couple of quid well i managed to get out to try & put some of my partners dad's paddocks right , as some of the horses have been out all winter & have poached it terribly chain harrows wern't enough so had to weight it down with a fir treetrunk & maybe level it also with a bit of cattle grid \ but worked a treat looks a bit better on the bigger tyres :) even bill decided to get the landlegend out to firm it after with the neighbours roller
  3. i only know of two that have cranes but havent seen them for ages (8 wheeler only farms ) the system works for them simply because they are a two tractor farms , scraper tractor & main tractor with a loader which obviously cant load it's self
  4. anything you damn well like ;D after all with 740hp whats going to slow you down \

    ploughing

i have found in the past that the cause of steering into the furrow edge is the lack of slack on the stabilizers , thus not giving the plough the option of pulling straight , this also accounts for most of severe curves instead of straight furrows , unless of course you're following a hedge line.
  6. the enthusiasm some of your bretheren have, the kane is the trailer of all trailers & whoa betide anything else that can haul silage ;D especially the half a pipe one
  7. There is a possibility a haybob could be made at some stage. = i'm going outside, i maybe sometime .......... *grumbles under his breath , blimey i cant go turning out masterpeices on demand you know i'm a busy man*
  8. so am i right in thinking this tractors in germany ? i only ask because it has a german web address at the bottom of the pic , i tried it but it's all dutch to me ;D
  9. certainly a head turner fancy owning a proper modern factory built one off bit like the experiment 290T with the reversed engine (as in put in backwards)
  10. nice going graham :) feel bad about the wheel size comment now , as the machine was built around the bigger wheels , small ones look odd now :'(

  12. got to admit thats 1690 is some serious forager power :P seriously thats turned out rather well , complete bonnet chassis rails the lot got to admit it's the sort of tractor manufacturers would have built back in the day for trials & research although mock up would mean it's still actually powered by 98hp
  13. tris i'll translate john talk for you haybob = bugger looks like i've been rumbled too complex. = ha ! one more gear to cut before i post pics of this 'fully working in every detail' implement & if he denies it & makes fun of the translation , you know it's only a matter of time before he actually attempts it
  14. nice updates mate , been a while though , but well worth the wait
  15. better than a kane :of ............... you're irish right ?................................ hope you got a tin hat ;D you best make a 2nd master for the casters & then you have 2 choices sell them as finished , or sell as a DIY kit really like the removeable silage sides , although , the standard height trailer looks hight enough as it is ! yeat another great trailer from a forum member
  16. there's one on the road from Dorchester to Wool, only seen it working at a distance although i havent been down that way for a year or so now but i'm reliably informed it's still working there
  17. whao there :of :of how much power :P :P so then farmer what do you pull with this tractor ? farmer : anything i bl00dy well like ;D
  18. thanks for the pictures & narative denis , they look a tidy pairing really mate. as for the power socket behind the pillar john i was also surprised to see it blanked off , the old 3080 autotronic i used to drive had them, so to be blanked off would they have been an option ? i think the 40K was an option for both 3000 & 3005 series tractors mike 30K was standard. your 3085 must be an early model as it doesn't sould like your 3085 has dynashift either denis
  19. nice pics tim thanks , as for Orinoco, he's seems to have wombled i bit further than wimbledon common hasnt he looks to be in good condition though , best look after him tim , cant imagine there's many wombles about now
