  1. I was going through a cupboard last night and came across an envelope of tractor photo's. These were all taken at a weekend ploughing match at Ottery St Mary, East Devon one September weekend sometime in the 1990's. Somebody will be able to give the exact year as the Massey 6150/4270 and NH 8160 were brand new demonstrators from local dealers. My guess would be 1995. Enjoy.....
  2. Here's a couple of photo's of the two versions of potato box I made in spruce. It's a nicer material than balsa and you don't really need to paint/colour it.
  3. I have one...somewhere. It was only available for a short period in 1994. It wasn't shown in the catalogue. As far as I can recall I think it was a colour variation on the standard Defender 90. The only 'special' thing about it was the short period of being available in the shops.
  4. As far as I can find out the Renault 936RZ on duals was only issued in a green UH Country Collection box. Like gromittigger I just need these 925 Specials for a full set. If you are looking for a Renault 936RZ on duals then may like to know that the UH reference number for this model is 2205, it may help your search. I got mine from G + M ......old stock!!
  5. Is that Swavesey College Ben? amended post due to fact i'm using Seans Batteries for my keyboard and keys dont respond in time!....sorry PDH ;)
  6. He only accepts cash or bank transfer - that's as per his payment instructions in Catalogue No 6.
  7. It was discontinued at the end of 2003.
  8. Henri is a nice guy. I emailed him and ordered a catalogue about 4 months ago. He posted the catalogue and it got here before I had the chance to send the payment for it. He likes cash....no credit cards/PayPal. He will take a bank transfer but charges 12 Euro's for the privilege. Catalogue is well worth the money, parts are good. Just a b*gger about the payment method.
  9. Looks like another sticker covering the hole where the mirror is mounted.
  10. Introduced in 1978 and discontinued in 1985. As far as I'm aware never issued with the numbers on the side. Still have an example in my collection and it's exactly the same apart from the numbers.
  11. Thanks....pity my French is still at the schoolboy stage
  12. Is the French Forum this one 'Gros Tracteurs Passion'? If it is was the thread this was in? If not what is the URL? Thanks
  13. A brand new Fendt 312 at Shepton Mallet...so shiny. A JD xx20 with Simba Solo working hard alongside the Ilminster by-pass, in the fields they normally use to grow spuds. Also a JD on the back of a low loader heading east. An MB-Trac with towed spreader on the A30 west of Ilminster (haven't seen a Mb-Trac in a long while)and finally a Fendt 412 with a single axle Rolland Spreader at Monkton on the A303.
  14. Surely the Cargo has only been available in a 'Dealer' box. Never seen it in a standard UH Country Farm box.
  15. Came across this today. Stocks a wide range of materials, some look extremely useful. Particularly the Brass Perforated Sheets. Four different varieties of plastic mouldings and a lot of various metals/mouldings. Some scenic items as well. http://www.modellersmate.co.uk/
  16. Yes it's still there, was in it on Friday. Stocks quite a bit of scratch build items, most of his customers are Radio Control planes, boats and cars people so he has the stuff to build these. Also has a small stock of plasticard/Plastruct. There is also another craft and model shop at Pinhoe, in the road opposite Sainsbury's.
  17. From the information I have these are the details of these models - The small gritter was part of Set 9884. Came with a Unimog fitted with a snowplough. The large gritter was numbered 9841. I don't have a Deutz DX92 issued as a Autoway model. The Autoway models as far as I'm aware were decalled as DX110. I supoosed it's possible some were issued as DX92's. Anyway the Deutz tractor was issued as part of two Autoway sets 9881 with a Rear Dump trailer 9886 with Liquid/Vacuum Tanker Hope this helps
  18. I have them listed as follows Corn King 9576 Valtra Claas Green 00236 I'm do not seem to have as Case CX100 with duals on my Britains list. Can you confirm the details. I have Case CX80, CX90, CV170, CV130, MXU125, CVX1145, CVX1155 etc but no CX100 and no Case with duals.
  19. Thanks Ricky. Had a look at a few maufacturers web sites this am (MF/Claas/Fendt/CNH) and yes they all use the term Tier III. I hadn't appreciated that Euro III/IV etc Emission Standards didn't apply to tractors. A Google search shows that there are a different set of emission standards for tractors (The Agricultural or Forestry Tractors (Emission of Gaseous and Particulate Pollutants)(Amendment) Regulations 2006 being the latest set). A very interesting and just goes to show you should not assume that European Regulations apply to all things that are similiar!!
  20. 3 tier is just the terminology for the engine mods or upgrades all vehicles, cars included had to do to comply with for new emission regs. The disadvantage of this is the engines runs extremely hot and requires, usually bigger fans and grills etc - this is why you see a lot of cars now coming out with so called new designs and the only real change is the front where you will see a larger grill eg Audi The engines run hotter to burn as much fuel/waste as energy before it is sent out the exhaust.
