  1. I'd telephone the man and ask him politely was going on..........
  2. Just to say I've been informed by SWMBO that a copy of Farm and Site magazine dropped through our letterbox this morning. I'm assuming this is Issue 11. I won't be home till tomorrow night to look at it. If you are a subscriber then I hope the same has happened for you............
  3. You'll probably need to renew when Issue 12 arrives. He's certainly enthusastic but I got the feeling Issue 11 has been very difficult and he will be glad to get it out....lots of 'Where's the issue that I should have had in August' type calls may have been going on and he's tired of them. He certainly spoke of interesting plans when I talked to him at Toytrac. He expressed the opinion that the magazine has a huge potential. I know the other magazine he now publishes had similiar problems at the start but that probably had a smaller subscription base as it was run as a one man band before he acquired it. Give it time and we'll see what happens. I really hope he joins here so he can give us insight in to how it all goes together and may be he pick up contributions from members. He could also tell us of the issues as they arise, like delays to publication etc.
  4. Yes I have. Message I got was that all subscribers copies of Issue 11 should be in the post by today. The bulk have already gone and the last batch are being posted today.
  5. FB I take your point however people should not just post one liners that make out the originator is doing something wrong. The moderators (and by the way how are people selected to be a moderator) should make it clear to all what restrictions that are put in place. No where have I ever seen do not publish a phone number on FTF that is already freely and easily available elsewhere!
  6. What on earth does this mean? Number removed from where? I didn't have Julian's number when I went to get in touch with him this morning but got it from the Old Pond website. This took all of 20 seconds to find. It's just a great pity that people don't check throughly before posting comments such as this. As far as I'm concerned I'm deleting my original mail and if people want to get in touch Julian they'll have to do their own research to get his details. An extremely p****d off PDH
  7. Does he know you've posted that up!
  8. Contents removed in case they upset some one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Has Issue 11 dropped through your letterbox yet? Nothing in mine....end of the week coming very soon!
  10. Last one - I must find my other built Scaledown kits in the loft. Photo's when I've got them on display.....
  11. I built one of these a few years ago. It was my first Scaledown implement and it was the first version of the Bomford Brigand they produced. Unfortunately the rams on mine ended up to loose and I'm unable to 'pose' it in the working position. Also I made a mistake in not clear varnishing the transfers once I had applied them. They now are starting to peel off. Anyway some photo's to 'assist'
  12. Spoke to Julian at ToyTrac. Next issue in the post 15th November. Printer is delivering them next week but Julian is away 'overseas' next week. He's going to get material for an article in the following issue which will be out in January. He sounded very optimistic and said there is a strong market for the magazine. A nice guy just trying to do his best with what he inherited (which to me just sounded like a list of subscribers and their reside subscription cash). The rest of ToyTrac was busy. News of another UH blue Balfour Beatty McCormick from Farmmodels, a CX105 this time. LE of 1250 - price ?20. Expect to be available by the New Year. Prototype was on display in a special Farmmodels box. Also on show was a prototype of the Prosol Power Harrow and the RPM trailer - price ?39-99. The new ROS scarifier was on sale - ?18. Dave Purdue was busy selling County's and GM had a pair of Gold UH Deutz's - ?200 the pair! I'll let the others update you on anything else!
  13. Glad you like Marky....had no number plates so I haven't a clue as to what age it is. She sounded well when she pulled off. I'm sure she only comes out a few times a year. They were collecting cut down trees for the local November 5th town bonfire.
