This is the list I have compiled of all known models produced by UH in 1/32nd scale (sorry haven't looked at 1/16th as I don't collect). I'm investigating at least one futher addition to the list. I'm aware there are possibly others (e.g. Renault 925) but this also need further investigation to confirm they are actually models produced by UH, not modified by a third person. Not sure how this will come out but there are three parts to each entry Model Reference Number/Model/Box. If anyone can tell me how to insert an Excel Spreadsheet then I can replace the list and make it look better. Any queries/comments.....fire away. The Silver MTX 155 on duals is that anodised metal finish I believe. Sort of silver/pewter coating overall. They had a prototype of the coating on a 1/16th Massey at the Toy Fair earlier this year to show it to the trade.

Yes. Build a couple of others first before starting one of these.

I've built 12 Scaledown kits now. Bought the first one when they came out. Some have taken me years to complete! They take a long time to get right, particularly if you are like me, a perfectionist. All the same I've enjoyed building them and currently I'm finishing off the last few. If I built anymore then I would go for an implement and buy the tractors ready built. Age and eyesight ain't what they were. Don't know your building experience but would suggest a simple kit to start with before progressing on to the more difficult ones. I seem to recall the Fordson N wasn't too bad. Nigel Ford would be able to give his opinion on what he thinks is the ideal starter kit. Name of the game though is patience, particularly if you want to get it right.

Good grief Sean. My parents were Dover born and bred. Grandparents lived there most of their lives. I lived in Dover from 1958 to 1976 when I got married and moved to Folkestone. Moved on to Devon in 1978, Folkestone was that bad!! We should have a chat about the old town when we next meet. Do you ever go back? We have, its a right dump these days.

No he didn't actually. He arrived in an Austin Seven drophead two seater though, not a Reliant van.

Good idea about an FTF meet but I won't be there that early. Don't think it opens till 11am or have I got that wrong? Not sure if there's entry allowed before the published opening time.

Same goes for me Tris. If it's any help I could pick you up from Exeter or Honiton or even Taunton. I hope to go and will be travelling from East Devon. The wife is working Saturday and I'm home alone!

It would be great if that was the way Ebay works. You pay a listing fee every time you put something on. If it's a re-list then only when it sells do you get your listing fee refunded but then you have to pay a percentage of the selling price to Ebay. Ebay wins everytime, the seller pays everytime.

I found this on the web http://www.geocities.com/lrc_act/4wdstuff/tyre.htm If you download a copy in Microsoft Excel 5/95 format you can then enter the real tyre sizes and simply divide the result by 32 or 16 or 64 or whatever to get scale size. A lot of manufacturers are now putting tyre sizes in their info so this may assist real size to model size. You only need the Original Tyre info on the spreadsheet.

That could be a little difficult as I'm lead to believe Accurate Die-cast own between 25% and 30% of Universal Hobbies. Someone would probably need to buy out the UH shares.

There is no Chartres model for 2007. This is the closest you'll get as it was released at Chartres 2007.

I am seriously thinking about it. My daughter is cabin crew for EasyJet so can get cheap flights and hotel. The only thing I need to sort out is getting from airport to hotel and hotel to Zwolle and the reverse trips. Are there any websites that help...train routes/times etc? Also whereabouts in Zwolle is the train station, near where the show is?

That's the only tractor the contractor will run....he has Fendt's permanently on order though he had to bring in three Deutz's recently as the order list for Fendt's is now so long they could not meet the required delivery dates!!

That's what I was told....though the farm has three of the Landini's in all
