  1. Very good show today, its a credit to Harold to be able to pull it off. I enjoyed meeting a few members off here, especially Bill, names to faces and all that. As ever it was fun to browse the stalls of the dealers even if some of the bigger names were missing, I must have went around the whole thing ten times! The layout were fantastic, and there were some interesting collections on display too. Here are the best of the photos I took, not a comprehensive record but gives a flavour...
  2. My purchases from Penrith today: Siku Valtra T191 & Forestry trailer set (been after this one for a while), roll of currogated card from Mandy, and a few Valmet and Volvo spares. Also bought Rory Day's new County book by John Hull (intended as a Christmas present but will probably have to have a read of it myself first ). Also sold a few bits as well

  10. My thoughts exactly too Tris. I really dont know what they were thinking with the Marston. Looks like theve managed to employ someone with a bit of common sense recently! ;D
  11. Just bought a green Britains Rice horse box on ebay to replace the one I had when I was younger
  12. How many Autoway Valmet 805s do you have? I can see at least 9, is there a reason you have so many?
  13. Yep, I was able to watch it no problems. (Its only the GAA you cant get outside the island ) I have to say I think this is a real 'feel-good' project that should generate some much-needed positive publicity for farmers in general.
  14. Yes they are the RJN Classic Tractors models, though I had thought most of them were no longer available, they nearly always do them as limited runs. You can find their ads in most old copies of Tractor and Machinery magazine While I'm here I may as well add my photos:

  16. ...according to which this machine is extremely rare and was brought back from south america, possibly brazil.
  17. They've definitely overcooked the slight raised area on the roof alright, looks like someone got a zero in the wrong place in their measurements! Unfortunately this looks like a pretty advanced prototype/ pre-production model so I would not be optomistic that they will change it before it is released. Can someone confirm that this is 1/32, as it does not seem to be up to the standard of their recent models, and is more reminiscent of the old 1/16 series of Same/Lambourghini/ New holland models? I wouldn't be all that impressed by the opening bonnet, Siku have been doing that for a good few years now. As for the bonnet decals, we can only see one side of either tractor in the photos. What often happens here is that only decal is designed, and then applied to both sides of the bonnet, resulting in the decal being the right way around on one side and the wrong way around on the other. I seem to recall that this was the case with the (new) Britains 5000 etc. Even if there were two opposite decals available you could still get variations. I suspect the chinese factory workers on 2p an hour are not too particular.
  18. Would love to see a picture of that! :of
