  1. Modelfarmer.co.uk Owner: Mr. R. Lyons Some fear he may have hit the front too early with his entry, but has left room for a late burst. A very aggressive and violent horse, has been known to kill Cougars in cold blood. Form:
  2. MJB1 Undecided as to what colour silks to wear, it would seem. Likely to plump for red and grey. Form:
  3. NCC Owner: Mr. N. Coop This runner has been flying under the radar lately, but is certain to mount a challenge. Unknown yet whether he will run a baling or a pit entry Form:
  4. I'm bored so I've decided to do the runners and riders for the Inaugural FTF Silage Model Competition Champion Chase: Civilpek (Red and Grey) Owner: Mr. A. Fitzgerald One of the many Irish expected to challenge, Civilpek's owner has been one of the main advocates in getting this race off the ground. Form:
  5. I'm not sure as I don't have either model, though surely some of the other conversion experts on here can help? Come on guys!
  6. No, it's a UH Claas Celtis chassis and wheels, 6635 cab and mudguards and shortened TS-A bonnet. Going to do another one soon in the colours of Cork City Council, red with a white cab roof
  7. Not fully finished yet, more pics after I have my breakfast.
  8. Nobody cutting in Cork yet either, though did see one mowing on the land of Clonakilty Agricultural College. In a rush hence only one picture
  9. Why have they called it an 8250, surely 4250 would have been more in keeping with what they've done before, ioe four digit model numbers, first digit represents the generation and the other three the horsepower, as in 1135, 2145, 3220. I wonder will Britains make this on the 1135 chassis again?
  10. Yeah, the ones with the blue cabs had the NH leaf logo. I presume it was just left out as this is a prototype
  11. How do I get the wheel centres off a TM? The new metal ones are a lot tighter than the old plastic ones
  12. That method is fairly common down around this part of Ireland
  13. The maize header from the JD won't fit it anyway, the holes on the NH are too far apart. I don't have the Norscot maizer header so can't help you there
  14. I've been saying that for the last three or four years. Britains have missed out on two decal updates when they could have made a few upgrades to the basic model
  15. I took a TS-A apart today and decided to throw the leftover wheels under a TM, I don't think it looks too bad. PDC does the same, but on a TS-A chassis I think. Still needs mirrors, lights and handrails added
  16. Anyone got any tips on how best to take apart a TS135A, without breaking the bonnet? Is there a special way to get the rear mudguards off? Thanks
  17. I refer you to smallclaas and his NH combine: http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php?topic=5507.15
  18. Innishannon, Co. Cork, Ireland. He had the DBP 1174, and various Scaledown Fordson, Field Marshall and Roadless models. UH Tecnoma sprayer, Cougar (which I bought there a few weeks ago), Fordson Major, McCormick CX95 and 105. The NIB 6600 was ?225 and the TW-35 ?195. Also a crap Ford '7610' conversion, ie a 5610 with a new decal and rear duals with a seed drill, for ?85
  19. Paid a visit to my local model shop for a browse and a possible buy, my wages as usual burning a hole in my pocket. This place is dearer than toystore chains but has far more stuff, including some Scaledown and DBP, as well as some old Britains models NIB, and Ertl items too. You can imagine my surprise when I came across a Siku Claas Uniwrap baler priced at ?20.99, with all the rest of them at ?28.99, I was up to the counter like a shot. Thank God it was one of the shop girls behind the counter (it's a supermarket as well), if it was the owner he would've realised fairly sharpish!
  20. Let's just hope nobody Nath gets confused when they type MX170 into the eBay search box :o http://search-desc.ebay.co.uk/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&catref=C6&from=R10&flt=9&satitle=mx170&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&bs=Search&fts=2&fsop=2%26fsoo%3D2&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=&floc=1&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=Postcode&ga10244=10425&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=
